Not enjoying this Air Force uni , where's the thunderbird unis ?

I'm not sure they wore it this year. It's more fitting than those B-2 uniforms.

They didnt wear them last year either I believe. I think the last time they wore them was in their bowl game for the 2010 season. I loved those unis. The helmet was awesome.

The Thunderbird uniforms are one of the best alts in recent college football, period.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Oy. Arizona State looking about as un-Arizona State as you can get--White/Black/White. I've said it once and I'll say it again--ASU's overuse of black (insert uniform element here) is why I generally despise BFBS uniforms.

Air Force looked like a Russell school again. The pajama effect is not okay, ever.

Also, the reason Virginia Tech is so annoying is because everytime they introduce a piece of equipment it doesn't keep consistent with the template of the former. How many different helmet stripes will they use? How many different helmet logos? And why in the world do they always wear striped jerseys and striped helmets with plain pants, and vice versa?

Their equipment team is just throwing crap into a chute and it's not working. At least when Oregon changes, the design elements are all consistent from piece to piece.

Virginia Tech is the epitome of everything that is wrong with the revolving-closet uniform game that every school is trying to play these days.

It's amazing to think that just five years ago you could actually count on knowing what your team was going to look like on a weekly basis. It's called an identity.

Not a big fan of ASU wearing white/black/white. I'd have rather seen them wearing gold/maroon/gold, but so far, you can't argue the results!

I hate that they dropped Sparky too, but you can blame that one on Disney, who "strongly suggested" to ASU that they deemphasize the use of Sparky.

Wait, they dropped Sparky because of the face? Why couldn't they just redesign it, then?

Hard to tell, but I believe it appears that LSU not only upgraded jerseys, but also their pants. In this picture, it looks like the pants have the padding on the hip bone area like the newer Nike pants. Striping still the same. I can't post the full size picture as it is from twitter, but if you take the image link and add ":large" to the end it will show you the bigger version where you can see more clearly.

Wisconsin just announced they are going with white top red pants for the Granddaddy. Can't say it's not expected with Alvarez at head

Please tell me they're wearing the rose pattern helmets/jerseys again. Those looked so good last year.

They did, and people basically threw a fit. Plus, :censored: Disney. Why should ASU redesign their logo because of a potential connection that has been known about for decades? It'd basically be the case where Disney's powerful lawyers would find a way to wrap the university up in enough of a lawsuit that it'd be just enough of a major inconvenience. But ASU is no slouch in the legal representation department either, so it would be pretty inconvenient to Disney as well. Both have basically come to a mutual agreement that lessens the use of the logo, but doesn't abandon it, if for nothing else but to avoid a bunch of legal nonsense.

That's all ridiculous. I mean, the pitchfork is not a bad logo (when it's in the right colors) but Sparky is much better. It's not like it's a super-traditional logo since they only started using it in 1980 but any CFB fan who has half a brain would recognize it. The pitchfork is just meh compared to Sparky.

Well, the Badger reporter who tweeted the red pants info just tweeted me back after I asked on the rose print stuff and said "Regular white jerseys on top with Rose Bowl logo but no fancy petal stuff like last year."

Damnit

Oh well, it could be worse. The rose pattern stuff just improved on what is already a solid uniform.
