Having watched them several times in person this season against the A's and Padres I was not overly impressed by them. Not saying they're not good, but Detroit was better. Just one example: Lincecum was throwing some un-Godly stuff last night. Watching him in relief, it was hard to believe he was having so much trouble as a starter during the regular season. The offensive juggernaut beat the pitching juggernaut both times. That old baseball saying is not nearly as cut-and-dried as one would be led to believe.
