10 minutes would be much better than 5, but I don't understand why they just can't have a full 20, with a shootout after that if you must. At most, it would just be another hour. I realize that teams have to be somewhere the next day, but just schedule the flight or whatnot an extra hour later just in case. It won't be much of a problem.

Anything to have less skill competitions.

Believe it or not, you're doing the fans a disservice.

The NHL cares more about putting the best-possible product on the ice than it does deciding outcomes of games. They know that a team playing 80 minutes of hockey will be worn out to the point where playing the next day (against an opponent that most likely didn't have the same travel/game schedule) doesn't give them the best chance of succeeding.

Extended OT's work in the playoffs because the two teams are on the same game/travel schedule, or the winning team gets a couple days of rest before their next series begins.

The thing about bringing back ties is that one of the many outcries before/during the lockout was to finally get of the damn ties. The NHL listened, and most people are happy without ties. For them to 180 on something that people desperately wanted fixed would be like if they went back to not calling 85% of obstruction fou--ohhhhhhhhhhhh crap

I thought the Kings already went to Toronto.

Oh wait, they're talking about Stamkos. Must be Tampa.

(Stamkos has scored against the other 28 teams but not the Kings). He scored tonight.

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall

This New Jersey team, being 31-22, and winners of five straight (two of them over NY), will continue to make no sense to me.

Dear, Letang

Yes, Subban is a dick, but that was unecessary. I really hope you haven't gotten yourself suspended (again)...

That's 6 straight, with no signs of improvement. I forget, are we Blackhawks fans allowed to complain yet? Or does the skid have to hit double digits before we're permitted to raise polite objections to the team's level of play?
