STL FANATIC
I don't think there's any reason to legislate against the late TO. I just think coaches should figure out it's stupid and stop doing it. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
BlueSky
Well, Clay Matthews and the Packers are taking credit for ending the lockout.I'm sure they were rethinking their love for the real refs right around the time Jimmy Graham's "catch" was inexplicably confirmed (I had the same incredulous expression as Mike McCarthy when it was announced). After the Sproles fumble, had the Saints won the refs might have needed an escort to get out of Lambeau. The Packers and their fans deserve this win after the numerous blown calls they've had against them. Let's see if the referees can help get New Orleans the ball back here.I wouldn't go that far, but I would have had a bad taste in my mouth had the Saints won this game. I know why Pack fans were upset at the Colston push but worse goes uncalled every week (just watch Roddy White for a couple of plays). And a couple of calls did go against the Saints, for example the ridiculous spot on the 3rd down play just before the Packers' fake punt. If that spot is correct, it's 3rd and a long 1 and I doubt McCarthy runs that fake. Even with 4th and inches, can you imagine the fallout had the Saints stuffed Kuhn? That was a gutsy call, or an idiotic one, depending on the outcome. But the Sproles fumble call was so bad even the replacement refs are probably blasting it. Absolutely unbelievable that any refs, real or otherwise, could miss such an obvious fumble. Once that happened, it was kind of a sick feeling for me as a Saints fan. Of course I wanted them to win, but not like that. Ironic that the game came down to Sproles dropping the 3rd down pass that preceded the whole FG debacle. As for Atlanta, they have the mojo for now but until they perform in a playoff game without wetting their pants (much less win one), it's all blah blah blah. CS85
I don't mean to go into Bears fan homer meatball mode, but have the parameters for a hold been changed? I know there's technically holding on every play, but Peppers and Wootton can't buy a flag tonight against Dallas. The hell. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. ninersdd
Wow the Bears pay back the Boys as the former AZ Wildcat Briggs ran back a Romo turnover. Huge play to say the least. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion

BlueSky
Cutler reminds me of this guy in many ways...That's Jeff George for those too young to remember him. "Petulant" is not a word used to describe successful NFL QBs.

BlueSky
After the Falcons kicked the winning FG yesterday, Mr. Buttoned Down Nice Guy Matt Ryan was shown on the sidelines screaming "F*** you, motherf***ers!" at the Panthers. Guess he wants it known what a tough guy he is. On another note, that was a ridiculous reversal just now in the Bears-Cowboys game. While a tipped ball negates PI, that Dallas defender was mauling the receiver from the time he got in the end zone. Fine, it's not PI, but it IS holding and/or illegal contact. CS85
Good on Ryan for showing some emotion..Yet Cutler has forfeit his "showing emotions" privileges, apparently. What a crock. I know he can be a repulsive douchebag, but the constant hate gets old. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. Viper
Now, let's see here... The Packers destroyed the Bears in Week 2, and the Bears destroyed the Cowboys tonight. Jerry Jones should be thankful his team doesn't play Green Bay this year - that could have gotten real ugly, real fast.
