Rodgers gets poked in the eye, Graham Harrell comes in and calls a running play on 1st and goal. What's the worst that can happen?

Oh... that.

Update: And then a miscalculation by Sam Shields (he appeared to backtrack too soon) allows Brees to lob an easy TD bomb.

You know, I was afraid of just this happening... Seattle's win on Monday night (no matter how controversial it was) was such a big win that the game with St. Louis could produce a big time letdown.

Well, they just had the letdown today. The only offensive touchdown St. Louis had was on a fake field goal. Yet, it was too much to ask for them to get a win over a clearly overmatched team.

Oh well... Might as well prepare for next week.

In fairness, the Rams should have had a TD 2 plays prior on the Jackson run. The holding call was not only marginal at best, but also not called at any other point throughout the game. Seahawks (and probably the Rams too if I remove my blinders) were doing similar all day and it was only called twice (both on the Rams, but once declined).

Additionally, I have to argue for some credit for the Rams overall. This wasn't just a let down or a trap game for the Seahawks. The Rams might not be the best team in what's proving to be a very tough division, but they're a real competitive group. If they can pull off the win Thursday over Arizona, they'll be right in the thick of things for this division.

Correct, since they are now 5-13 on the road under Carroll. Today was just a typical visiting Sunday.

The Sean Payton poster is going to be quite upset with the Saints kicker.

The Packers and their fans deserve this win after the numerous blown calls they've had against them. Let's see if the referees can help get New Orleans the ball back here.

Nope, sick catch by Jones iced it! And Tampa completes the comeback. Its RG3 time for the last drive.
