So, um, did the Bears and Bucs sign a pact where they'll agree to trade for the other team's high round busts?

Gaines Adams, Brian Price, now Gabe Carimi. You know, at least the other two haven't died (yet).

That was my first thought as well. That Gaines Adams situation still kinda freaks me out, though. What a sad story.

@SportsCenter: BREAKING: Patriots to sign QB Tim Tebow and expect him to be in minicamp tomorrow. (via @Edwerderespn)

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall

ESPN's reaction after Tebow signs with Patriots:

Conflicting reports. Some are saying he's going to play quarterback, others say he'll play some hybrid role of tight end/fullback/whatever.

Tebow will publicly renounce all non-Bill Belichick gods and quietly assimilate into the Patriot Borg. Resistance is futile.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Very interesting. One thing is for sure...it won't be a circus like it was with the Jets. At least to the extent Bill can make sure of it.

I thought the vaunted "Patriot Way" was supposed to avoid distractions? Congratulations, Pats, you just signed one of the biggest distractions in NFL history.

NE has signed or traded for the following distracting players in the last decade: Ochocinco, Aqib Talib, Haynesworth, Dillon

He'll have Gronk off of pre-marital sex within the week.

My reaction as a Pats fan:

1) "Ha, good one Twitter! You almost got me! Like Belichick would sign Tebow! Even if he did, Tebow wouldn't actually make the team!"

2) "Damn you Belichick! Damn you to hell! How could you do this to us?? You are dead to me!!"

3) "Okay, okay. I promise I will stop masturbating if the Patriots don't sign Tebow. Deal?"

4) "Sigh... It's over... It's all over. Now I have to deal with ESPN all the time, and we'll never win a Super Bowl again... Sigh... What a cruel, cruel world."

5) okay, we signed Tebow. He'll probably be a backup... ESPN is gonna say stupid things and obsess over him, and then he'll be released.

I fully expect to go through this process at least five more times.

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!

The Patriots don't "have to deal" with anything....they chose to sign Tebow, and hence, 'choose to deal' with any media attention.

Still doesn't take away from the "ESPN's favorite team" remark....you choose to watch the network, you choose to put up with any of their Patriots/Tebow coverage. If it irks you enough to mention that ESPN loves the Patriots, it's on you for not finding alternative programming.

You take sports way too seriously.

Cool, but pointless, semantics argument.

I actually don't watch ESPN that much outside of live sporting events - doesn't mean it's not well-known that they talk about the Patriots a lot.

You take my posts way too seriously. We all get it, you don't like me or what I post. That dead horse has long since been beaten to death.
