Change one thing.

no gray facemasks on teams that do not have silver or gray in their schemes.

Some team-specific changes (assuming no overhauls):

  • Jets: Fix the Nike green issues.
  • Buffalo: Red Helmet

  • Baltimore: Get the "B" off of the helmet logo. It looks OK on the right side but does not fit on the left
  • Cleveland: Brown face mask
  • Pittsburgh: Block numbers
  • Bengals: Turn back the clock 25 years

  • Colts: (Gotta do two): Blue facemask and sleeve stripes all the way around
  • Jags: Go to inaugural look

  • Chargers: Go back 10 years
  • Broncos: Have helmet stripes go all the way through the helmet

  • Cowboys: One shade of blue
  • Giants: Blue facemask
  • Washington: Dump the yellow pants
  • Eagles: Kelly green (#2 dump black)

  • Carolina: Helmet stripes all the way through

  • 49ers: Gold outline on jersey numbers
  • Seahawks: Go back one year
  • Cardinals: Red facemask

  • Vikings: Back 10 years
  • Lions: Dump black.

Other than baseball I would eliminate piping in pro sports uniforms--that's my one thing.

I works in Basbeall, it doesn't work for me in hockey, football, basketball, etc.

Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here."

What I would change:

MLB: teams need to wear sirrups, or at the very least, striped socks. That are visible. Thus, eliminating those ridiculous "pajama" pants (which has to be the most moronic look in all of sports).

NHL: back to the old cut jerseys. You know, the one with the bell hems and stripes and no superfluous piping that the captaincy's C covers etc etc...

NBA: New Orleans should be th Jazz, the Lakers.... wait... what's that? dead horse? really? Okay...nevermind....

NFL: Remove Goodell... or have him sit in the seats for one Saint's game...

NHL: Remove front numbers from jerseys.

100x this. It just makes things look so cluttered.

Not much of a change considering that only a small handful of teams have numbers on the front of their jerseys.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

It's still a tremendously ugly look.

Also, if you want something broader, I say death to piping.

Giants - 1 stripe pattern for both sets of pants

Pretty sure they switched to the road stripes full time starting this past season.

My thing would have more teams go back to original brighter colors. Rams, chargers, jets, etc.

The NFL is too dark and drab and too navy blue.

I'd make rules in all leagues that alternates must truly be alternate.

In each sport, only one team can wear an alt (regardless of color contrast); home team gets first chance.

  • NFL: Once a year
  • NBA/NHL: 5 times per year
  • MLB: 10 times per year

Make the alternates truly alternate.

Elaborate on what you mean by this?

I think he means that only ONE team in ONE game gets wear an alternate if they want.

Like for example, if the home team choose to wear an alt uniform for the game, then the road team MUST wear their primary "road" uniform.

Bills - Get rid of the navy trim.

Dolphins - Aqua as full time home jersey. Too beautiul not to use.

Patriots - Get rid of the blue side panel on the white jerseys.

Jets - Kelly green.

Ravens - Switch to a brighter shade of purple. Like what the Toronto Raptors used to use.

Steelers- Change pants stripe to black-white-black pattern.

Browns - Orange pants standard for road uniform.

Bengals - remove white side panel on orange and black jerseys.

Colts - Make helmet, jersey, and pants stripes match.

Texans - Navy pants and red socks standard with road jerseys.

Titans - Light blue jerseys and white pants, please.

Jaguars - Blech... Just go back to the old jerseys and pants.

Chargers - Ditch the conrasting panels under the pants/jersey bolt stripes.

Raiders - white outline around silver numbers.

Broncos - Fix the collars.

Chiefs - Ditch the black in the helmets.

Packers - Nothing. The only NFL team to get it exactly right.

Vikings - throwback full time.

Lions - make the helmet stripes wider.

Bears - Change the pants stripes to be more consistent with the rest of the uniform. navy-thin white-orange-thin white-navy for the white pants, and thin white-orange-thin white for the navy ones.

Falcons - Black socks with the red jerseys.

Saints - Make the pants stripes match the helmets.

Panthers - Fix shoulder stripes to taper to a point, like USC or the Texans.

Bucs - Red socks.

49ers - So many little problems... I guess fix the logo to get rid of the black, since it's nowhere else in the uniform.

Seahawks - Change the numbers to a less stupid font.

Rams - Gold pants.

Cardinals - Red facemask.

Cowboys - Match the damn colors.

Redskins - Switch to darker throwback colors.

Giants - Incorporate some blue in the road jerseys.

Eagles - Bright kelly green.

Yes. Maybe I am still upset about the blue Padres at blue Brewers game I saw years ago. But I'd rather only one team wear an alt in a game.
