There was what, 5 years overlap between them before rebrands? The Hawks, Clippers, Bucks, Sixers, Raptors...Also, with all of these one(year)-off city pride jerseys, I'm sure you'll be able to find some that extend to teams that play all the time. At first, I thought to myself "I don't remember the Pacers playing at Hinkle Fieldhouse." Well, the windows at Hinkle are different. I also noticed that the color of the floor was Sonics colors, but the Pacers were wearing their home uniforms. Seattle Center Coliseum, now Key Arena, doesn't have windows, though. Never did, despite many renovations. Began searching Sonics-Pacers on Google, and the pictures I found were of the Pacers wearing white at home and blue in Seattle. Further confusion. Come to find out during the 1996-97 preseason, the teams played two games in Europe. The above picture was in Sevilla, Spain. The other matchup, with Seattle designated the home team and wearing white, was in Berlin, Germany. Problem solved.However, considering the teams played once a year from 1995-97 wearing each their home and away uniforms, and also the aforementioned preseason games, I wouldn't say this is a rare matchup.
