i don’t Know if Vegas-Tampa ratings would be Ottawa-Anaheim bad, but....... after a decade of Boston-Chicago-Detroit-Pittsburgh-LA Kings, guess they were due for one of these matchups.

 

From a business/ratings/marketing perspective....... how do you spin THIS possible matchup?

Nobody is watching a Tampa vs Vegas final. Get real. That’s probably the very worst championship match up I’ve ever seen in any sport. The NHL completely deserves that trash matchup.

Unfortunately, people will watch because of the allure of the whole "First Cup in First season" for Vegas. 

If this was their 3rd or 4th season, yeah no one would really care. 

 

No one really cares about Tampa making it for the 3rd time in 5 years though.
