Just defend the short pass -- he might beat you down the field a few times but he doesn't have the accuracy to do it consistently. That TJ Ward play took some years off my life. Gave them the 10-pt lead and Manning didn't need to win them game for Denver. He could just do 'make no mistakes*' and be in contention at the end. Their big scoring was Carolina opening jittery on D and O the first two drives (field goal for Denver), the long punt return on a bad coverage of a non-fair catch (field goal) and the sack/fumble (touchdown).
