GDAWG
Some interesting names in that group, including two USFL QBs. AJ McCarron will probably be better in the XFL than in the NFL. And I think Ben DiNucci was probably going to be back with the Cowboys had Dak's injury been more serious than it was.

For a team with the best fan base from the last go around, better hope they're at least 2-1 and competitive to boost the fan base expectations. Can't believe St. Louis isn't one of the week 1 games. Three games in Texas in Week 1 just feels lazy.

My guess is that the Dome in St. Louis is probably already booked with previously-planned convention-related events for those opening three weeks.

I think they're counting on St. Louis home games to prop up the rest of the league at the back end of the season if the attendance numbers drop elsewhere. San Antonio is in the same boat. Home game to start the year before hitting the road until Week 5. Then they're at home the last three weeks. It makes planning for the season pretty easy for me and it lines up to having home games during Fiesta which will bring more people into town.

McCall
So, evidently, they ARE doing divisions. DC, ST. LOUIS, SEATTLE & VEGAS in the North. ARLINGTON, HOUSTON, ORLANDO & SAN ANTONIO in the South. 1 Quote https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

DCarp1231
It’s a bit of an odd choice to have North and South Divisions. DC is playing Seattle and Vegas twice.

Like wise after this ends to clean up and install the football field.

Maybe St. Louis had the MOST flexibility while other teams had schedule conflicts. But the broader point remains: Unike NFL teams, these guys get second (if not third) billing in most of these stadiums, with perhaps Arlington as an exception.

The Las Vegas Lights delayed their home opener two months later to May 5 to accomodate the XFL at Cashman Field. The Lights will get their home back with a more than likely torn up turf. They're going to have 1 to 3 games a week nearby for travel. Keep them grouped, and you're guaranteed at least 1 Texas team in the playoffs, preferably two. And if rumor is true that the final is in San Antonio, then at least 2 of 3 playoff games are a short drive from Arlington. If you did East/West and put Houston in the East with DC, STL, and ORL, you're risking LV and SEA winning the west playoff spots, and Houston missing the two eastern spots. And then your playoffs are all outside Texas. And that neutral site rumored title game will have 50 people at it.
