The nature of concrete is that it cracks, but it's also supposed to be reinforced and repaired on an ongoing basis. For example, I noticed when I was at T-Mobile Park a couple weeks ago you can see the epoxy in the floor of the upper deck; it's just the way it goes. At the same time, if the load-bearing stuff is starting to degrade beyond repair, then the stadium needs to be shut down immediately. It's kind of a binary situation; either it's too dangerous to be open or it's not. If I recall correctly, there were even statements about insufficient rebar/support within the pillars. It's not just needing to fix cracks and patch items, as mentioned upthread, it appears to have been shoddily built, and thus "fixing" it contributes to that exorbitant repair price. Oh, I absolutely believe that hollowing out the pillars and replacing the rebar is crazy expensive. But if you need to replace the rebar...shouldn't you shut down the stadium? 2 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

Alex Houston
Fortunately, Tampa Bay has found a way to get back to the meddling, inefficient play that they had before The Goat sacrificed his marriage to be there. For an upper echelon team, they sure know how to not win. 3 Quote "And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... FiddySicks
I mean, we as Bucs fans all knew deep down that this was going to come back down to earth eventually. Not even Tom Brady can avoid the orbit of suck that is the Bucs forever. I’m more just astounded he was able to prop it all up for as long as he did. DCarp1231
Due to the short week, Anderson isn’t permitted to play on Thursday right? Also, I think it’s possible for the Panthers and Rams to swap CMC and Cam Akers with a few draft picks involved, of course.
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
These Broncos might be the most thrillingly terrible team I've ever seen. 2 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
FiddySicks
That Broncos defense is so damn good. Would be nice if they had a half decent quarterback. Maybe they can trade for one in the off-season. Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) GDAWG
So Chargers K Dustin Hopkins is apparently injured.....so that means that they will probably sign the recently released Matt Ammendola this week.

Red Wolf
If you watch a Broncos game at this point, it's really your own fault. At least the finish was kind of silly.
