DCarp1231 Posted July 20, 2023 Author Share Posted July 20, 2023 Someone pointed out that the player in the Seahawks reveal video, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, was born in 2002 therefore having absolutely zero recollection of the 90s on top of not even seeing the uniforms these are based on in action. You can see the push-and-pull of consultants and the front office dithering over whether or not to really bring in black as a full alternate Identity. So you get a black helmet, but no black anywhere except the number trim on the jersey, pants, or socks. Are these horrible? No. Are they better than if they did an all-black uniform? Absolutely. Do they make any amount of sense or are the slightest bit necessary to enhance their wardrobe?
