See Red
how many do you think they'll win for the season?i reckon about 25-30 and miss playoffs 25-30 is being VERY kind.2 years back the Nuggets and Cavs only managed 17 wins and their teams were more talented than this Bobcats team. I say 10 games if the Bobcats are lucky.
Alphabet Man
i said about 25-30 cos there are 80+ games and they must be pretty bad to win 25 twitter.com/thebrainofMatt
Saintsfan
Well I think a lot depends on how good Okafor is, but I reckon somewhere around 20 games. (About 1/4 of the games they play. which by NFL standards is probably about average for a first year team (in todaysNFL 4 wins) 2011/12 WFL Champions

gosioux76
I heard they were 8-0 in thier preseason. Check your rumor mill. That's not even close.According to NBA.com, they have 1 win, 5 losses. The only team worse is Boston at 1-6 and Seattle has the same record.

Joshawaggie
i'm guessin just under 20, like 18 or so, and beating a couple good teams at the end of the year, foiling some playoff implications, and leading to a promising 2nd year. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats

sc49erfan15
9-73 (1972-73 Philly 76ers)11-71 (1992-93 Dallas Mavericks)11-71 (1997-98 Denver Nuggets)It's very possible to win less than fifteen games in a season, much less 25.Just for the record, here are the records of the modern NBA expansion teams:1980-81 Dallas Mavericks: 15-671988-89 Charlotte Hornets: 20-621988-89 Miami Heat: 15-671989-90 Minnesota Timberwolves: 22-601989-90 Orlando Magic: 18-641995-96 Toronto Raptors: 21-611995-96 Vancouver Grizzlies: 15-

Gregmond
I think they'll struggle to win 20, especially as the season drags on and their 2nd tier players tire from playing much more than they have in previous seasons. There's going to be a lot of work for guys like Wallace, Smith & Brezec (?) to carry a massive load while Okafur grows into the NBA. You can't fault their choice though going for the guy with college experience - I don't think they could have carried a baby. They managed three wins in the preseason (Miami, Portland & Atlanta), but I don't think that's a good indication - let's be honest, they're not going to beat Miami too many more times for a while. Still, with Atlanta in the same division, they can probably pencil-in a couple of wins! Thanks to Gobbi for the awesome buttons!
