So you've got his autograph?

no, i don't... i googled for a picture of him, and this was the only picture i found of him in a stars jersey.

he didn't play very many games in a stars jersey.... then we traded him to the wild, and then he went back to europe, i think... he's awful.

Thanks for clarifying...

Although that could amke an interesting collection...

Winnipeg Blue Bombers: if we're not limited to players, we would obviously go to He Whose Name Shall Never Be Mentioned. On field... well, the name TJ Rubley pops into mind, as does Sammy Garza (both QBs).

Toronto Blue Jays: Mike Sirotka... this guy single-handedly set the franchise YEARS back.

Miami Dolphins: David Boston... Cecil Collins... Thurman Thomas... Cris Carter... Brian Griese... that's JUST in the past 5 or so years!

Toronto Raptors: Hakeem Olajuwon... Alonzo Mourning... come on, you know he's not gonna play for them.

Toronto Argonauts: KERWIN BELL. Nuff said.

Rubley was a bust for sure--as for he whose name shall never be mentioned--are his initials J.R.?

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned Mike Maluma. To all the Eagles fans here, including myself, I see your Mike Mamula and raise you a Jon Harris. Remember this guy? He was a 6'7" 292 lb. first round pick in 1997 at DE and recorded a total of 2 sacks. Scary part is if Jerome McDougle doesn't start producing he will end up as a bigger bust than both of them.

The Sixers and Phillies have both had a ton, so I will list a few:

Sixers:

-Sharone Wright

-Shawn Bradley

-Glenn Robinson

-Don McLean

-Eric Montross

-Jeff Malone

-Andrew Lang

Phillies:

-Danny Tartabull

-Hate to say it: Pat Burrell

-Paul Abbott :cursing:

-Jose Mesa

-Von Hayes (not horrible numbers, just lazy and arrogent)

-Roberto Horrendous err... Hernandez

-Tyler Houston

-Gregg Jefferies

Screw it. Every Phillie ever sucked, except for the following: the 1980 title team, the 1993 team, Jim Thome, Richie Ashburn, Jim Bunning, Grover Cleveland Alexander and Chuck Klein. This is why they are the losingist franchise in pro sports history.

... Go Phils! :P

Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.

Tyler: That's neat.

Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.

Royals-Any pitcher named Davis, Juan Gone...(To Arizona), that other Giambi, Benito Santiago, Stan Belinda, Kevin Appier (the 2nd time), Mike Sweeney (after the contract extension), basically everyone since Kauffman's death not named Damon, Beltran, Randa (for the most part), King or Dye

Chiefs-Trezelle Jenkins, Sylvester Morris, Jay Taylor, Lin Elliot, Billy Bartee, Steve DeBerg when he wasn't on, Elvis when he had the "Elvis face", Brock Middlebrook (still love that story), the Chiefs D the last 4 years (with a couple of exceptions), the Chiefs O the 10 years before that (with a couple of exceptions)

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow

these are my 'recent history' busts.

detroit tigers: juan gonzalez....so much hype, so much promise, so much dissappointment. the biggest crybaby i ever saw play the game.

matt anderson...see above.

tony clark......2 strikes? low and away works every time.

detroit lions: tie between chuck long, andre ware, and scott mitchell....words can't describe how awful this trio of goofs were.

detroit red wings: tie between paul coffey and keith primeau. primeau is the most overrated player in the history of the game, in my opinion. coffey is a disgrace to defensemen everywhere and should be ashamed to call himself one.

detroit pistons: grant hill....couldn't lead.....again with the hype and promise. thank you to orlando for taking this monkey off our backs.

I had thought about saying Coffey for the Wings but I know CC has special feelings for him so I stayed quiet. Keeping in mind that I don't remember many lowpoints before 1990 since I was too young (or not alive yet), I'll add the worthless Dmitri Mironov to that list.

St. Louis Cardinals: Pedro Guerrero

Chicago Bears: Whoever is playing QB

Illinois Basketball: Steve Roth

Illinois Football: Dustin Ward

Even though I'm not a cubs fan, Discrim said A-Gone. I would have said Auggie Ojeda. They should make a rule if he hits it out of the infield its a Home Run. He's awful.

Winnipeg Jets- Ooooo, so many choices. "Iron" Mike Amodeo, Jimmy Mann, Steve Penney, Paul Boutelier, Aaron Ward, Derion Quint, Igor Ulanov. I'd have to say the absolute worst player they had, though, was the "ringer" goalie they brought in their first year in the NHL, Gary "Suitcase" Smith. This guy ate hotdogs on the bench during games he sisn't start in (and once or twice in games he did start), threw up before games and between periods (and at least once in the goal crease after a scrum), and was a general joke.

Blue Bombers- If we can't say Jeff Reinebold (former "coach"), then I'll use the current "Special Teams Assassin" and entrepreneur Wade Miller. This is a guy who did a hook slide after a 2-yard reception to avoid getting hit. This is a guy who, when lining up for field goals, if he doesn't like the way the defense is lining up will take intentional illegal procedure calls...which is fine, except he has (more than once) taken enough of them on one FG attempt, pushed the Blue out of range for the field goal...

Stick to Booster Juice, Wade. Get out of football. NOW.

The Oakland Raiders - Jeff George; never has one player done so little with so much talent. My Dad and I still refer to a quarterback rolling out right into a sack the "Jeff George move."

Baltimore Orioles - probably Glenn Davis, as a disappointment, but Armando Benitez was horrible; he gave up a series clinching HR to Tony Fernandez.

Toronto Maple Leafs - Mike Ridley really never panned out when he seemed like a good acquisition, and currently, Nik Antropov is super-frustrating.

Penn State - the entire current offense, especially Zack Mills and Michael Robinson

I have never seen someone's favorite teams so spread across the country. Left coast, East Coast, Midwest, North...

I think Jeff George could be mentioned for any team he played for excluding Illinois but including the bears where he hasn't had a snap yet.
