pcgd
1. Chicago Bears=perfect, even the logo. I'm one of the few that like it (the current bear logo)...so be it.Sox=only a handfull of teams pull off the one color look this wellCubs= Modern and ClassicFire= Best in the MLSBulls= One of the few timeless things that came from the late 60sHawks= Very few changes over the years, and there's a reason for itWolves= Right up there on Minor League Hockey identitiesRush= Chicago was almost perfect Northwestern= Really they do make purple look good2. BostonSox= perfectCeltics= Could an largely irish city have a better looking identity?Patriots= Took a couple tries, but they finally got it rightBruins= Still looks good after they almost ruined itRevs= Right up there in the MLSBU/BC= Both look awesome, I love the Terrier though3. DetroitTigers= The D is up there with the B, the NY, and the STLWings= A winged tire? It works beautifullyLions= Take away teh black and they might be higherPistons= After the teal, anything would have looked good. But they went and made it perfect.HOMER PICK!!!4. St. Louis Cards= Nothing beats teh Birds on the Bat or the STLRams= Awesome looking logo, I wish the horns were still on the "sleeves" but still...Blues= St. Louis hockey named after the Blues. Music note? Check. Blue Color? Check. Classic yet Modern look? Check.Billikins= This is still one of my favorite college logosSteamers= Gawd awful5. DenverNuggets= Much better look now with the Blue and Yellow.Avs= Still my favorite NHL logoRockies= need some helpBroncos= If you are copied by colleges all over the land, you are doing something right6. Milwaukee (plus green bay, yes I know they aren't close but...so what its my list)Bucks= I know alot of people don't like the logo, but I do. Its not very intimidating, but unless a deer darts out in front of you at 70 mph, they aren't intimidating.Brewers= Even without the MB logo, awesome identity. Fits with the area awesome.Admirals= Some classics won't die, and this one shouldn'tBeloit Snappers= Hugely under rated minor league logoPackers= PerfectMarquette/UWM= Both need some work, sorryCarthage= Stole the Utes/Redskins logo...they need some help (sorry I had to include my alma mater in there )The Bay area is right up there too, as is Phenoix.Cities that need some help:New York (minus the yankees, all blue mets, and the Liberty Rangers logo, they need some help)LA: Lakers/Clippers are a mess logo wise, The Kings need help. The dodgers really don't have a logo but they have a good look, and LAA has too much red, plus the disney look is still leaves a sour taste.Washington: Got a winner in the Nationals and the United, but the Redskins need some help as do the wizards. I'll take or leave the capitals.I may add more as I think of them.Edited for a brain fart.

winghaz
I do believe it's safe to say that L.A. has the worst overall sports logos. Even the Kings can't save L.A.
Anomalied
Chicago, and I swear, that's not biased. If I lived anywhere else, I'd still say it.Cubs = slightly boring, but classicBulls = intimidating, classicBlackhawks = just beautiful, the alt is great, tooBears = love this one, too. great colors.Fire = awesome fireman themeWolves = similar to bears logo, and just as coolRush = just remembered it, and it's a good one too7-
JH42XCC
I think New York has the best logos in sports, along with Boston, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, and Philadelphia (the city with the teams I love to hate). What do ya think about dat?
spyboy1
I think on topics like this you should be banned from picking your hometown. It will stop people from saying really dumb things. My vote is Boston with Chicago a close second.JeffB Click here to read Third String Goalie - The Hockey Jersey of the Day Blog Click here to see my hockey and baseball jersey collection online ?You don?t like to see 20 kids punching 20 other kids. Your Name Here
The problems with New York are these. The Mets, while having a good logo, have never really had a good uniform. While the Knicks have also never had a good uniform, they've made up for it by never having a good logo. Other than that, the Rangers, Yankees, Jets, and Giants all get the job done. The Green Meanie
Before they moved their teams, I would have said Montreal, with the Expos, Nordiques, and Canadiens, but they're only down to one now.
OMMF
Before they moved their teams, I would have said Montreal, with the Expos, Nordiques, and Canadiens, but they're only down to one now. The Nords were in Quebec City not Montreal.
The Green Meanie
The Nords were in Quebec City not Montreal. Ah, okay. They still get the nod from me, though.
Youppi!
Why not San Diego? The old ABA conquistadors logo was pretty cool, the chargers is hard to top, and now that the padres are no longer the colors of feces and urine, they look pretty good these days too. winghaz
I have a problem with the Mavericks logo because it's a horse. Look it up -- a Maverick is almost always a cow.

MrCodeDude
Arizona:The Cardinals logo is one of the best in the NFL.The Suns logo is pretty nice.Diamondbacks and Sting need some improvement though. Dallas:Mavericks is pretty spiffy.Cowboys = star. But even then, it's still a pretty nice logo.Stars is pretty spiffy, but when two out of the three teams use stars as their logo, it kind of gets repetitive.Rangers is kind of bleh.Bay Area:Sharks haven't changed their logo for awhile. I think that's saying something. I still think the logo is a little bland and could use a little bit of "modernization," I like it.Earthquakes = my favorite logo in the MLS. I wasn't a fan of the Clash logo, but I really like the Earthquakes.Sabercats logo looks a bit childish. The new Warriors logo is awesome.A's is pretty bland, but classic.I'm not a fan of the Raiders logo.Giants is simple and effective. Not a big fan of the 49ers logo.I don't know, I think all cities have their good and bad sport teams logos
FirearmofMutiny
I gotta go with Chicago. Not a bad one in the bunch. Honorable (homer?) mention goes to the Twin Cities, lead by the Wild "Beast".
