Don't look now, but Nike is 2-0 in the futures. Virginia Tech beat Boston College 30-10 and Florida just stopped Georgia 14-10. If teams start thinking these are lucky, maybe Penn State and Alabama will join the fray...

Much like the Yankees during the TATC promotion, Penn State is wearing their future uniforms.

Just in case someone from Nike, or with any pull is reading this space:

These are an abomination of sports. It is ridiculous, ugly, and profit-driven.

The teams look ridiculous, and the fans will not stand for it.

I boycott Nike because of this insane type of garbage, and I encourage the rest of you to do the same.

The only time I will ever wear Nike is when I put on my lacrosse jersey.

And thats only because it says Northwest on it.

I'm so thankful that A&M prides itself on tradition and keeping to that look. I think we would go crazy if A&M ever agreed to change to have any of that crappy piping that miami started. I dont know who this is appealing to. My only guess is that the athletes may like it. But i'm not too fond of what the majority of athletes find as fashionable. Its either that or the people at Nike have been smoking on something way too strong

Puma has already done this with soccer jerseys (Fulham, Chicago Fire). Oh, yeah -- Puma is owned by Nike, isn't it? Or was it adidas that owns Puma?

I recall the 2004/5 Fulham jerseys. Puma is it's own entity. Believe it or not the founder of Puma was the brother of the founder of Adidas. Talk about a sibiling rivalry.... also Adidas and Reebok announced a merger not too long ago....

Oh yeah, anyone mention the Thrashers' third jerseys?

I saw, I came, I left.

The Oregonian reported last weekend that the "Oregon jersey" that is identified in this thread was just a prototype and will NOT be worn by the team. The article did not say that there won't be another jersey, but it did say the one "making its way around the internet" was not authentic.
