See Red
1. Colts -- Easy pick.2. Broncos -- Great running game, Plummer has been great, the defense has been great. They're for real -- just beat a very good Dallas team on Thanksgiving. Not an easy task. And Foxworth and Williams are only going to get better. I think they have a chance to beat the Colts, this year.3. Seahawks -- I'm still not completely sure about this. They should've lost to the Giants -- but, then again, if a few calls go the right way, shouldn't have been in a position to lose.4. Bengals -- The Defense can force turnovers, which is always great. Haven't been able to watch their games, but I remember Deltha O'Neal was high-risk, high reward when he was with the Broncos and gave up some costly plays. That could cost 'em if he still plays like that.5. Chargers -- the #5 team may not make the playoffs. I think they lose at Indianapolis, and at home against Denver -- going into KC won't be easy, either.
WJMorris3
Let's be brutally honest. With the disparity between the AFC and the NFC, the Seahawks, being the best team in the NFC, might be 17th overall. Seriously...1. IND2. DEN3. CIN4. PIT5. SEA5. OMMF
1. Colts (11-0)2. Broncos (9-2)3. Seahawks (8-3)4. Bengals (8-3)5. Chargers (7-4) Did I miss something? I'm pretty sure the hometown boys are 9-2, not 8-3. While the Giants game, for all intents and purposes, was a loss, it goes in the standings as a W. winters in buffalo
Seahawks (is that even a real bird?) Yes. See osprey, aka seahawk. Wonderful creatures... they build huge nests.
ProvidenceRI
5.Patriots Uh...what?I'm a huge Pats fan, but that's so totally wrong I don't know where to begin. I hate the Patriots. But, they will win the division by default. They will be healthy by the playoffs. They are the best coached team in the league. They may be the 15th best team in the league right now, but come playoff time they will be about the 5th best. FightinIrish11
Seahawks (is that even a real bird?) Yes. See osprey, aka seahawk. Wonderful creatures... they build huge nests. thanks, we actually had quite a debate about whether sea hawks were real birds. living in st. louis, we havent the slightest idea, but we're pulling for the hawks to take the division, should be no problem
maxweb81
I can't believe how many times I've seen the Bears on these lists. I'd put them top 10, perhaps 5, but not 3. I'm glad for the support though 1. Indy2. Denver3. Seattle4. Bengals5. Chargers (and they might not make the playoffs!)To expand:6. Bears7. Dallas (Jags would be here, but no leftwich is a problem)8. Steelers9. Carolina10. Giants After this sunday the Giants will at least take the number 7 spot or higher on your chart.(yeah giants)

Pat
1)Indy-If otherwise you're an idiot.2)Denver-Plummer's making an MVP case, running games strong, defense is as well.3)Seattle-Im still skeptical but 9-2 with Alexander on your team helps.4)Cincinatti-We all knew theyd be good, but this good?5)New York Giants-Dont yell at me yet. The offense has a chance to be something special and the defense is matching them step for step. If it wasn't for Jay Feeley a lot more of you would have them up here. lilgump
7 Sea Could be 5-6 they could also be 10-1 with the OT lose to washington1.indy2.broncos3.seahawks4. cinci5.SDI think alot of people dont give the seahawks credit due to the east coast bias... I mean, people are still doubting USC is THAT GOOD... But of course, they havent really proved anything yet... EagleFan344
The Seahawks dont get any respect. Possible 5-6? They could also possibly be 11-0 if they won every game.
Jigga
First, I'm basing this on who I think would win...on paperBest of the best:1. IndianapolisBest of the rest:2. Denver3. Pittsburgh (at least until they lose to Cincinatti this week)4. Seattle5. CincinattiSecond, SD is a paper tiger...you cannot be the 5th best team if you don't make the playoffs. Finally, don't be a homer. It makes you look like a fool. On January 16, 2013 at 3:49 PM, NJTank said: Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. Knits Rockne made up George Tip's death bed speech.
