FiddySicks
It was just unveiled. Thats not the one they showed. Same concept, but without the stadium. I like the one they unveiled much better. BloodAtFirstBite
MLB sends COO Bob DuPuy instead of Selig. You know Bud won't even get near San Francisco as long as Bonds is still around.
PhilliesPhan1325
I don't like it. They could have incorporated the city more, like this year's logo. And the ball looks like someone hit it from right field. "The 0-2 pitch... SWING AND A MISS! STRUCK HIM OUT! THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES ARE 2008 WORLD CHAMPIONS OF BASEBALL!" statebully
it just doesn't look like a logo to me. it reminds me more of a poster or banner hanging up, but not really a logo feel to it. like someone else said, what do you think that is gonna look like on a hat? kinda weird! -kj
Frankly, I think it's fantastic. The splashdown's a little odd-looking with the rest of the motif, but overall I love the look. Not every logo has to be in the same style. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! logodawg
The splash is a bit akward, but overall I like the imagery of these. I agree. It seems too detailed when compared to the rest of the logo. It doesn't help that from some of the photos it looks like it was added last minute.BTW, patsox#1, classy sig you've got there... I once had a car but I crashed it. I once had a guitar but I smashed it. I once, wait where am I going with this?

[edit] lollerskates, he changed it as I was posting it. At least now it's readable, if not without grammatical errors... [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. Hardcore Legend
It's ok for a poster or a banner, but I can't imagine that on someone's sleeve or on a baseball even. I actually prefer the banner shown earlier to this one, which isn't a good thing.
