Naaah. Tuscon Toros, 1980. Yellow, turquoise, avocado, pink, lime, red. And with orange pants!

No, that would be if both teams wore their current uniforms.... :P

Actually, that wouldn't be fair to not include the Brewers "ball-in-glove" Sunday gear in that game.

(Blatantly trying to start something)

Wonder if the Astros will go with the pants numbers too. I guess we'll know this afternoon.

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!

Oh. Oh, dear God.

Look at that first card. Is the uniform's actual cap one of those '80s mesh caps with the two mini white front panels? With one reading "Tucson" and the other reading "Toros"?

I can't get into anything below the neck on this uniform, because my brain refuses to process it.

Let us never speak of this again.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

The uniforms are too ugly to even discuss (though as someone else pointed out, the 70s mesh, side panel caps are hilarious) however...

...is Jimmy Johnson's fly open?

The '76 Padres is leaps and bounds better than what they are currently wearing.

As well, amazingly the '76 Astros look seems refined compared to their current mess of double outlines and pinstripes.

Oh my. Looks like Jackson Pollock threw up on polyester and they made jersies out of it.

Those should end the discussion for the worst uniforms ever. If anyone brings the topic up again. Just repost this.

No link but on the Astros broadcast tonight they said the Padres would wear ones from 1976 and Astros would wear their orange "squashed cheeseburger" look.

I'm guessing the Padres will wear the white home one.

Maybe I'm crazy (my ex-girlfriends can all verify this) but, I say they should both go back to these unis. Hell....the Royals should bring back the baby blues and the Brewers should bring back....dare I say it, the "Glove logo".

There, I said it.

Watching the game and the Astros have the number on the pants, the correct stripes down the sides of the pants and many players are wearing stirrups as well. Also it looks like the stros and doing it the right way and going no betls like they wore in 1976
