rams80
Heh. So the Irish did win... I'm surprised considering that they have issues with the secondary. Also, we can add New Mexico and Duke to the list of teams that lost to I-AA schools as well (Los Lobos only scored two FG's as they lost to Portland State 17-6 while the Dookies got blanked by Richmond 13-0). It would of been four teams if Illinois State would of won, but they lost by one to K-State. Ahh, the unanticipated side effect of the 12th game....Those I-AA cupcakes you guys scheduled were more like rocks. Whoopsie. Getting shut out at home by Richmond?Of course, Wake plays Duke next week and our starting QB is out for the season. So we'll see what happens. Yeah, I was reading about the Richmond-Duke preview and it said Richmond had more seniors starting on defense than the Blue Devils had starting on the whole team. Then again, its not like the Blue Devils have ever measured athletic success by how they perform on the gridiron. #CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP

Seadragon76
Big whoop. We all know Arizona got lucky.Anyway, in today's action...-Ole Miss hangs on to win 28-25 against Memphis. That Scheffer kid for the Rebels is good.-Baylor... Yes, that Baylor, is leading TCU 7-3 in the 3rd Quarter right now. Bear Air might do something that hasn't been done in over a decade: Lead the Bears to a bowl.-Kentucky and Louisville in about 10 minutes... Bleh. UK sucks and Louisville is the definition of overrated.

UK sucks and Louisville is the definition of overrated. - I don't know if you saw something in Schaeffer that I didn't, but color me unimpressed. 7/16 for 99 yards -- 46 rushing on 12 attempts? ... I'm not too impressed by that. He only completed passes to two recievers, all but one of them to... not sure of his name.- The Baylor programming is slowly getting better. I wouldn't be shocked if they made a bowl game either.- Louisville's offense is one of the best in the Nation. Two guys with, at the very least, chances at the Heisman. Bush is probably the best running back in the country.*edit: Bush just took his first carry of the year 48 yards for a Touchdown.

Fred T. Jane
*against Kentucky Eh, you're supposed to horsewhip midgets like Kentucky on your home turf if you as good as Louisville is hyped to be. Granted, I think they're a bit overrated myself, but I wouldn't say being up 31-0 at one point in the 2nd Quarter is a sign of them struggling. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. sscrunner06
What a shame, Michael Bush broke his leg at the beginning of the second half against Kentucky after an amazing first half (3 TDs). He really looked solid, and he probably could have been a longshot for the Heisman. What a devastating loss for the Louisville Cardinals.

But Murray State was 2-9 in the Ohio Valley Conference, last year.At least Louisiana Tech was good last year, so Nebraska's win was somewhat impressive -- not really, but more impressive, none-the-less.
