It looks like a bootleg knockoff, or one of those unfortunate late-'90s fashion jerseys. Would it really have been so hard to wear a black vest with yellow sleeves - you know, something that actually looks like the frickin' Pirates?On a somewhat-related note, are they also keeping the pointless pinstriped alternates? Black vests with yellow undershirts would have been awesome. The post-gazette has a poll asking yes or no on the red jerseys and it is almost 50/50 though. I am shocked. The black vest, gold sleeves idea would have been awesome. Of course, if the Bucs finally start winning again it won't matter what they wear.And yes they are still using the pinstripe uni.On a personaly note - 200th post!! I am shocked.Best look they couldve done IMO (Totally unconventional, yes, but still cool in my book) wouldve been a black vest, red sleeves, same hat as the one brought out today, BLACK PANTS (Yes), and red socks.
