Sodboy13
It's my favorite of the Sharks' current set, because it uses the shark fin shoulder patch. That's a fantastic secondary logo, which gets next to no exposure. Of course, nothing in the current set holds up against the Sharks' original unis. The only thing the current home and road had going for them was the dazzle nylon on the silver portions, and that got scrapped after about 2 years. FiddySicks
I personally love it, but I know that Puckguy hates it, as he scolded me for buying one. He thinks it just looks like it has tape on the sleeves. But honestly, my favorite sharks jersey are their white ones. For some raeson I freaking love them. They just look great to me. -kj
I think it's by far the worst jersey San Jose has ever worn, though I do agree that the fin patch is a great secondary. boardname
I don't like it, because it's boring. When the first wave of NHL thirds came in around 10 years ago, they fell into two categories:1) Original designs. Some of these were admittedly hideous, but some were great and they at least showed creativity. Examples, the NYR liberty head (love it!), the Bruins pooh-bear (meh, though I liked the yellow), the Burger King (ugh..) and the Wild Wing (never happened).2) "Let's be black". Flyers, Blackhawks, and Sharks - just made their usual uniforms black. Totally boring.

Chazberg
No. The homes are the best. And what the hell happened to the shiny sleeves? That looked awesome then they went to a flat gray. Booooring. Come to think of it, St. Louis did the same thing. They should both go back to the shiny. charles-noerenberg.com
Sport
The further and further we go the more I hate the third jersey in the NHL. Some of them are great i.e. Blue Jackets, but what I can't stand is when a team takes their third jersey and uses it to replace one of their other jerseys resulting in two mismatched jerseys. Examples are the Ducks in last years playoffs, the Ottawa Senators, and the Philadelphia Flyers. If your going to adopt your third jersey full time then why can't you create a white version of it to match like the Stars did.

Last night broke a long losing streak.
STL FANATIC
I love the Sharks black jerseys. I really like two thick stripes separated by a thin one it seems, and I just really like how it works on this jersey. It's not the most creative, but I don't find it boring either. MetropolisPt31
I don't post much 'round these parts, but I have to chime in since I'm a huge Sharks fan. I've hated the jerseys since day 1, I hated them yesterday when they put 9 on the Wings, and I'll hate them long after I'm gone. I'll make sure my kids hate those overpriced practice jerseys.Maybe I'll hate them less if they clinch a Stanley Cup while wearing them. MAYBE. SilverNRed
The Sharks have always had great uniforms. Among teams that don't have classic uniforms, I'd say they're the best in the league.

Of course I would love it if the flyers went back to the jersey set up of the late 90s, with the black being the 3rd and old orange being the road.Hell even if they brought the old orange jersey back as the 3rd I would be happy. BBTV
I HATE the Flyer's black jersey. It looks like I'm watching a black-and-white TV when they are at home. At the very least, makes the sleeves orange, or add an orange/white stripe to the breezers or something. Better yet, just go back to the orange jersey. It screamed 70s/80s, but at least has COLOR!!!Back to the topic at hand - I love the Sharks' set, though the shiny was better. The black jersey is nice because it incorporates the fin, but it still needs more color in it. They just look too damn black (not in a racial sense, so calm down Greg! - j/k) The stripes are not enough. The only thing the current home and road had going for them was the dazzle nylon on the silver portions, and that got scrapped after about 2 years. No exposure...except on their pants. I don't understand the hatred towards the Flyers black jerseys. Yes, I can understand the fact that it is lacking in orange, but look at it this way: 1. At least black is one of the Flyers colors, and it's the dominant color in the logo.2. At least it keeps the simple, yet effective striping design of the white jersey.3. At least it uses the actual logo instead of the 3d logo. And I don't understand what that one poster was saying about adopting thirds full time and changing their white jersey to fit it. The blacks were alternates, yes, but nothing was different from it and the white jersey. Why would they change their white jersey when it already uses the same striping design? Despite all the negativity towards it, I happen to like the Flyers black jersey. That being said, I wish they brought back their 80's orange jerseys as the alts. I still don't love and embrace their current alternates, but I have to admit it has grown on me.
-Helix-
Probably the best Black uniforms in the NHL - maybe sports period IMO.There isn't much to them, but that's why they're so great. They're intimidating, original, yet traditional at the same time. They're hard to explain but I love them. However, the Sharks should be teal. But if any team can pull off the over-used black uniforms... it's the Sharks. (The Blackhawks' blacks are good too.)
leedsunited
I absolutely love the Sharks black jeresey.Anybody else here think its the best of their three?DanAbsolutely not, I was just watching last night's game against the Coyotes, and I couldn't stand the black unis. Stick with the color you're known for - which would be teal in this case. The black set is just boring, boring and more boring. Just jumpin' on the ol' black train for the sake of it. A truly cool third jersey would be one with teal, but the secondary fin logo front and center. The black is just a cheap marketing technique.
