NBA All Star Jerseys for Vegas 07

Vegas. Hmmm...and this city IS in the state of Nevada.

I only mention that for this reason...

Am I the only one seeing a University of Nevada vs. University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) parallel here? (Well, minus the gold, of course...)

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

I'm wondering what the back would look like. I have a feeling if its exactly the same design on the sides on the back as the front, we could actually be seeing the 3 stripes at the bottom of the piping. Sneaky way for adidas to put them in.

I guess it's just me, but I prefer the players wearing their team jerseys, much cooler

See me I always hink it's nicer for the teams to match in certain sports. The way they were doing it was kinda booty so I like them matching much better. Especially on fast break.

I think when I get my money-box overflowing again, I might consider buying one of nba.com. I've learnt my lesson about eBay before I have even started using it.

For some reason, I thought they used to have the players wear their actual teams home or road jersey at the NBA all-star game. Did they ever do this?

I think one year they did. Circa 1999-2000 i think.

Actually last year was 02 when Kobe got booed

Hey nice catch. I dont know if that was intended, but not a bad idea nonetheless. BTW, UNR > UNLV.

Now am I crazy, but does anyone else remember the year when the NBA All Stars wore their team jerseys minus the wordmark on the front?

The game just started, and there's one thing I don't like that I don't think anyone pointed out before about these:

The player names are pretty small, and are below the player's number. Yuck.

Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!

Players wore their teams jerseys from 1997 (Cleveland) to 2002 (Philadelphia). I remember in 2000 (Oakland) when the East All-Stars wore the home whites instead of the West. I believe this was because the Lakers didn't have their white alts. I think was one reason why they went back to West/East jerseys...well that and $$$$.

Also they did that at the '98 All-Star game in NYC.

1998 would be between 1997 and 2002.

Until 1997 they only allowed one of each number per team. With players wearing their own actual jersey that did not work, and when they went back to unique AS unis in 2003 they allowed multiples of the same number. I remember when Patrick Ewing used to have to wear #32 because Bird had seniority on 33.

That ISN'T the jersey the East wore. The numbers are white w/ blue and red outline, no two-tone blue, and they had red Adidas stripes on the side:

-And the West jersey you have up there is also incorrect. There is no gold stripe runing on the inner side, there was black Adidas stripes.

Just wondering something ... I noticed that the words and numbers glittered on the uniforms worn during the celebrity game, but they didn't sparkle as much during the actual All-Star Game. Is that because of the lighting at the two venues or did Adidas make two different jerseys?
