College football on ABC/ESPN or CBS?

If you're talking regular season, I'll take CBS. Sure, I'm limited to one or two games a Saturday, but the quality of SEC football is unmatched with any other conference. Plus, the best rivalry game of all gets aired on CBS in early December.

I'd take the Winter Olympics over the Summer, just because I'm a lot more impressed with doing events on ice/snow.

I would take Barry over Emmitt. Emmitt would grind you out, but Barry Sanders was basically Emmitt had Emmitt played for bad, mismanaged teams during his prime. Imagine how tough Barry would have been while playing on a good team.

Which player would you take right now, if you were starting a team from scratch: Marian Hossa or Dany Heatley?

Heatley. He's younger.

Who would you rather draft no. 1 if you're the Raiders? JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn?

Heatley. Marian Hossa has a nasty habit of being kidnapped by God-Knows-Who come playoff time, save the 2002-2003 run.

1972-73 Canadiens or 1983-1984 Oilers?

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

1983-1984 Oilers... only because everyone is comparing my pens to them nowadays.

I'd take Russell every time over Quinn. Quinn is another Rick Mirer. Same player. Different decade.

When did CBS start airing Ohio State - Michigan? :D

up or down?

Down. It's easier on my arthritis.

1985 Bears defense or the 2000 Ravens defense?

Sit, earn a ring, then get playing time as minor pieces of your team are moved (the Beno Udrih Plan).

1995-96 Bulls or 1998 Yankees?

Roger Clemens just a pure winner, and strike outs and no hitters are overrated any way.

This a threesome inspired by Terry Cashman

Willie, Mickey or the Duke
