And the Rams signed a familiar face, Trent Green. (ESPN)

Hopefully he won't get killed or end up suffering "retired boxer syndrome"

Harrington is a Falcon...again.

He better not start, and he better not be signing for anything more than the league minimum.

WTF? Why did they resign him? Maybe they won't draft a QB.

The free agent pool for QB's is not that deep and not that much of a difference than Harrington.

If the Falcons didn't re-sign Harrington, the QB on their current roster with the most playing experience was selling insurance during the 2006 NFL season.

Who ended up taking Harrington's job.

Which is why Trent Green is a Ram. So can the "Retro Ram" cracks.

Lions release Kevin Jones.

AND Kalimba Edwards. not as big, but still news to me.

They should have kept KJ, and not re-signed Tatum Bell. He seems to be just one of many backs who only played so well because they played for the Broncos, then failed elsewhere. Kevin Jones had a couple of unfortunate injuries, but I really liked him when he was healthy. He was a pretty good mix between speed and power. Not the fastest guy, but combined with his power, the speed was enough. Releasing him created another hole, or made a hole bigger. Now, we will probably draft a RB early, when we had so many other needs.

The problem was that KJ couldn't stay healthy. He's a good back, but he's never justified the first-round selection.
