I live near Atlanta and though I hate the Falcons, it's sad to see Warrick Dunn go. He is the anti-Vick, everything good that a player should be on and off the field. Total class, 100% effort, and team first all the time. I wish him well.

Randy Moss resigns, no suprise. It's 27 mil over 3 years.

does this mean that the pats will try to sign Dante Culpepper? I hear they have a huge hole at qb. :upside:

No, you got that wrong... they have a huge a-hole at quarterback.

As long as he wins games, he can be the biggest :censored: ever in my book.

This move makes no sense

Well, with the Bears re-signing Grossman, they've obviously solved their QB woes, making Griese expendable.

Im not talking about it from the Bears perspective I mean its makes no sense for Tampa.

Your right, Tnak, don't they have enough QBs already? Lets see here...

Jeff Garcia - unquestioned starter

Bruce Gradkowski - started a lot of games in his rookie season

Luke McCown - looked good in the games where he had to fill in for Garcia

Chris Simms - potential is (was?) there...

Jake Plummer - washed up, may try to make a comeback

Yup...that's just what the Buccaneers needed!

Does Tampa need Tight Ends?

Umm...yes? I don't think Alex Smith is the answer. And well...what can we say about Jerramy Stevens?

(I'm sorry if I missed the joke.) :P

More notable moves:

-Julius Jones signs with Detroit, and Detroit then trades TJ Duckett to the Seattle Seahawks.

-Warren Sapp retires.

-Pats resign WR Gaffney.

I was wondering if trading one of St. Louis' excess TEs to Tampa for a QB straight up would be an option.

The Bears signed Marty Booker to a 2 year deal.

Right now, I think the only reason I'm excited is the 4 year old Bobble head I have of him in a Bears uniform is relevant again...

Where did you hear this? T.J. Duckett was a free agent, they didn't trade him. Julius Jones visited today, but I do't see anything about him signing. The Lions also appear to be interested in Warrick Dunn. I would love it if they can get him.

Oh, and the Raiders signed Javon Walker.

Take it for what it's worth. The guy who posted the link on another forum said this was legit: http://spartannation.com/?p=3757

And yah, sorry, it was a signing, I just screw that up all the time whenever I see the headline "[player name] to [city/team]" I assume trade, when I should no better, since trade's rarely occur in the NFL.
