vicfurth Posted March 30, 2004 Share Posted March 30, 2004 Okay, this is the project I've been wanting to do for a long time, NFL Hockey!!! I've already done the whole NFC East. Here are the links, including the already done Atlanta Falcons x-over...Atlanta FalconsDallas CowboysNew York GiantsPhiladelphia EaglesWashington RedskinsCowboys: I used the Stars template, and I think it works well here [considering I used the Cowboys' star for the crest]. I even used two different shades of blue. This one's cool.Giants: I wasn't sure what to do with this one, considering the underwhelming simplicity of the Giants' jerseys. I used the helmet logo for the crest (which I will do for all of these concepts, save the Eagles, Rams, and Bengals) and the old helmet logo that spells out Giants on the shoulder, a la Bruins alternate.Eagles: I used the Flyers template here, and it's my fave of the bunch. I couldn't find a good drawing of the Eagles' numbers, so I ripped them off a jersey. Teamstore.com has great pics if you can't find number fonts. Redskins: I used Blackhawk-style striping. I thought about using the Capitals' template, but the striping I used works much better, IMO. Didn't use a shoulder logo. Don't lurk, please. I just checked that. The crest on the away the same, I believe. If I did the identical striping on the home (dark) it would've just looked like one white outline.
