Same awkward font. Damn.

Better to be consistent, right?

Now, those whites seem really out of place. This really is Ottawa all over again. Here's hoping they figure it out soon.

This would have been perfect or at least close enough.

This jersey's like a hybrid of Anaheim's third (not only the wordmark, but the near-elimination of one of the team's colours) and the 2004 ASG jersey... which isn't a bad thing at all. Green is probably the most horribly underrated colour in the NHL, so it's nice to finally see a green jersey among the many reds, blues and blacks.

If I wasn't such a self-proclaimed die-hard Ducks fan who won't buy other teams' jerseys, I would buy this in a heartbeat. :D

Except that I like the whites more than the other two (though I prefer the pre-Edge version). Especially the fonts.

Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!

My love for this jersey just dropped off a cliff. The M is just messed up. The 19th century style of the letter, with the red stars, is shouting "riverboat gambler" at me. The big red letters that say "Wild" do nothing to counteract this message. The M is way too busy for that script; it looks like a couple of middle school geeks went to town on an old copy of Illustrator 3. This has gone from Want to Fail in my book.

On the other hand, the jersey itself looks much better than I expected; I no longer mind the lack of red. And the yoke piping doesn't look bad at all.

As you can see, there's precedent for these elements in Minnesota hockey history.

Is that a record or something. Three (3) font styles in one wordmark. Not to mention the red neckguard (whatever you call it) does look out of place. They should have gone with yellow or gold like others have said.

As you can see, there's precedent for these elements in Minnesota hockey history.

Since last Friday, I've drunk some dark porter beer, and I've also eaten some cottage cheese, so if I wanted to throw some beer and some cottage cheese into the blender and make a porter-and-curds smoothie, there would be precedent in my dietary history. But I'm not going to do that, because that would be a revolting concoction that could not possibly taste good. Thus here: I am aware of the history of the elements used. Historical precedent, however, does not make an ugly thing not ugly.

In this instance, the fact that the M is a different type of lettering than the script is not fatal. That could have worked. But it does create a great deal of contrast within the script, and it makes the M stand out quite distinctly. Throwing those red stars onto each side of the M heightens this contrast and throws the script completely out of whack. It gives the script the effect of a casino sign on the Las Vegas strip circa 1975, which is absolutely the wrong look for this script and also almost exactly the opposite of the effect created by the original Millers and Saints jerseys. Those jerseys look like hockey in the north woods. The Wild jersey looks like nickel slots in Hinckley.

As for the red neck protecter, why is there any fabric there at all? It renders the laces useless; a hockey jersey should either have laces and an open neck, or it should have a closed neck and no laces. This is like sewing buttons on a pullover baseball jersey. But I can't hold this against the Wild, since teams have this kind of crap thrust upon them by RBK.

Man, I really love that font used on "Saints" on the St.Paul jersey.

They are available to buy. Even if you aren't buying, it's a unique selection that's fun to check out.

That looks so cheap, having the wordmark just be part of one big patch that's plastered on the jersey. At least they could have cut around the M, so it would just look like a green twill outline up against the green fabric of the jersey. This just looks.... well, I said it - cheap.

That's been the norm since Starter stopped making jerseys. I have a Starter Dallas Stars replica that's all embroidered into or twill sewn onto the jersey,

while my CCM game worn in the same type of attached patch method.

You can't blame the Wild for Reebok's production process. For the record I also happen to agree with you 100% that the "plastered patch" method reeks.
