I understand the kid's point, but for real...it's just the thing you do. It's not like Dez is the only cat having to carry pads. It's standard rookie :censored:. Just carry the pads, dog. Then woof at Roy's bum ass when you take his spot..."You're carrying my pads now, mother:censored:er!"

Now see, any other player besides Roy Williams and I might go along with the "paying dues" bit--which I know plenty about, trust me.

But this is bum-ass Roy Williams.

All that means is Roy knows a/ Dez won't let Roy just punk him like that and b/ Roy had best step his game up if he don't wanna get his spot took by the lil' lowly rookie. This camp battle gon' be good. Or, at least, I hope so.

Yep, I agree with this 100%. If it was a player like Jason Witten, or hell, even Miles Austin, then I would agree, show some respect. But it's Roy Freaking Williams. The dude deserves absolutely no respect and will be riding the pine watching Dez Bryant take his playing time come week five, tops. If anything, Roy Williams should be carrying Dez's pads. He's lucky he still has a job playing in the NFL with as worthless as he's been over the last few seasons.

This could be very good....or very bad. I guess a lot of that will hinge on how the Bengals fare this season.

This could be very good....or very bad. I guess a lot of that will hinge on how the Bengals fare this season.

For some reason, I think this will be highly entertaining.

The only bad thing about this is that it interrupted a FTW-awesome NFL Films show on the NFL Network. Other than that, hell freakin yes. TMZ Sports is officially setting up shop in Cincinnati. VH1 is asking Mike Brown for permission to add a tv studio to Paul Brown Stadium. Flavor Flav, Bret Michaels, & all the others 80s cast-offs are about to turn the Nati into Hollywood, Ohio. Good times, good times, good times. The Bengals are now my 2nd favorite team for the 2010-11 NFL season. Woo hoo.

And the other great thing about this is that I'm only about 90 miles up northwest of all that craziness...meaning when the Colts aren't dominating Sunday airwaves, I should also get Bengals games on broadcast TV here. If so, Imma enjoy this here. Shoot...I might just drive down there on some of my off-Sundays to see some of this up close and in person. :P

Every Browns fan facebook friend I have thinks it's funny that they signed him. They also thought it was funny when the Bengals signed Cedric Benson and Tank Johnson so this will probably turn out to be a pretty good signing. Browns fans love to harp on the group of malcontents and review the arrest sheet of the Bengals in the Marvin Lewis era, but neglect to notice that the Bengals record against their team is 10-4 over that stretch. I'd take the malcontents, hot-heads, loud-mouths any day of the week.

This is going to be a fun year, and at the very least, we'll get more coverage on ESPN.

Yeah because Archie Manning always had a marquee WR, won a couple divisional titles, and had a such strong supporting cast just like Carson does right now.

I mean seriously, Archie Manning's teams were WORLDS worse than what Palmer has to work with right now. To compare him to Archie is just ludicrous. Go look at the teams that surrounded Archie Manning in New Orleans & afterwards. Archie Manning would've been praying to play with the likes of OchoCinco & T.O., media circus be damned.

Well, since Dhani Jones also has "Dhani Tackles the Globe" on Travel Channel, Samamtha Brown may now do a series on the NFL and places when visiting.

Palmer is the reason that T.O. was signed since he pushed for his through their workouts. He is under contract through the 2014 season, so he could be moved or cut before the 2014 season hen is will be due $14MM. His $1MM/season roster bonuses do not take effect until 2012.

All I know is that HBO and NFL Films picked the wrong year to do their "Hard Knocks" series...last year's Bengals camp was pretty good, but it'll be probably more interesting this year. However, I think this season's Jets camp (with just Rex Ryan alone) would be just as entertaining.
