You do know they have really really good pitching in a pitchers' park (plus plenty of road games in pitcher-friendly [bad] San Diego and Los Angeles)

I actually got the WS match-up and winner right once.

1982, at age 12 I predicted St Louis over Milwaukee (no # of games picked though)

We used to get sports books in grammar school that gave their predictions,

so us boys did the same thing every year. Had the paper forever, think it's in my attic.

That being said, I've failed miserably since.

(being a numbers fan, and having time to kill, my W's and L's add up properly, league wise.)

  1. Either the Yankees or Red Sox will miss the playoffs.
  2. Matt Weiters will walk on water...again.
  3. Lou Pinella's head will literally explode.
  4. Ozzie Guillen is going to say something really stupid and offensive every day, but no one will be able to understand what the :censored: he actually said.
  5. Three people will actually be able to answer "Joe Maddon" when asked who's the Tampa Bay Rays manager.
  6. The entire Mets roster will be the DL simultaneously; tNak will blame Omar Minaya.
  7. Someone, somewhere is using Performance Enhancing Drugs right now and in 10 years, we'll hear about it.
