The American TV Schedule is now out. Here's the Game 1 TV Schedule:

Wednesday:

-Ottawa at Pittsburgh [7 ET/6 CT on Versus]

-Detroit at Phoenix [10 ET/9 CT on Versus]

-Colorado at San Jose [10:30 ET/9:30 CT on Versus (Joined in Progress)]

(One series, Philadelphia at New Jersey, won't be shown on American TV's)

Thursday:

-Montreal at Washington [7 ET/6 CT on Versus]

-Los Angeles at Vancouver [10 ET/9 CT on Versus]

(One series, Boston at Buffalo, won't be shown that night)

Friday:

-Nashville at Chicago [8:30 ET/7:30 CT on Versus (Joined in Progress)]

(EDIT: Fixed the wording... At least for Boston-Buffalo since Game 2 on Saturday will be on NBC. Philly-New Jersey, on the other hand, won't have any of their games on either NBC or Versus)

Another NHL American TV rights disaster. I'm assuming it just won't be Nationally televised as MSG, MSG2, CSN and NESN will show the games locally.

Western Conference

#8 Colorado Avalanche

#4 Phoenix Coyotes

#3 Vancouver Canucks

#2 Chicago Blackhawks

Phew! Just making sure I'm not the only one who sees San Jose's annual postseason nosedive coming a mile away.

San Jose will beat Colorado. Avalanche pretty much blow. Sharks will lose in the second round.

lmao, wow. They botched the hell out of that. I mean, it's the playoffs, & they can't show all of the series on American TV.

You shouldn't be surprised; this is the NHL after all.

And the Sharks don't blow in the postseason? C'mon now.

Seadragon used very poor wording. Only those particular games on those nights won't be televised nationally. You will have an opportunity to watch later games in those series nationally.

/Put the long knives away folks.

East

Washington over Montreal

New Jersey over Philadelphia

Buffalo over Boston (I'm surprised that so many people think that one of the leagues worst offences will be able to beat the leagues best goalie)

Pittsburgh over Ottawa (I really hope that I'm wrong with this one)

Pittsburgh over Washington

New Jersey over Buffalo (Miller has shown some signs of fatigue and I think the fact that Brodeur sat for a lot of the Olympics gives NJ the edge)

Pittsburgh over New Jersey

West

San Jose over Colorado (I don't expect San Jose to make the same mistakes that they made last year, then again they were my pick to win it all last year)

Chicago over Nashville

Vancouver over Los Angeles (other than the Ottawa-Pittsburgh series this is the one I'm most excited about)

Detroit over Phoenix

Detroit over San Jose

Chicago over Vancouver

Chicago over Detroit

Stanley Cup Finals

Pittsburgh over Chicago

Weird time for a middle of the week game. (All Times Eastern) so that means Game 4 starts at 4:30pm in Phoenix.

Actually, that would be 3:30 PM!

Phoenix isn't in the Pacific Time Zone is it?

Okay that makes sense but that's even worse then 4:30.
