FiddySicks
If I had never seen hockey and someone told me that the Avalance were full of really young players, I would've been convinced that they were wearing the teal jerseys. This team looks flat out AWFUL right now. They're making so many bone head mistakes it makes me want completely give up on them. How does this happen every year? How does a team this good do this? It's not like they don't play well together, half of them just won a gold metal. It's mind boggling. NEW.ERA
I actually liked the Avs game after the First Period. I'm sure Todd McLellan will be drilling it in to the Sharks mind to get shots on target, They do that this game could have been a lot different. BigMac12
So, on day 1 of the playoffs, The Coyotes was the only higher seed that won. I can't wait for day 2.
Cujo
While it's almost amusing to see you Sharks fans go into total panic-mode following tonight's no-show against that team of 15-year olds, please remember that IT WAS ONLY GAME ONE!!! No need to jump off the Golden Gate .... yet!
NEW.ERA
Every time the Sharks have opened up at home they've lost Game 1.Expect a much different Sharks team Friday night. JETS|PACK|JAYS|NUFC|BAMA|BOMBERS|RAPS|ORANJE|
RedRenesis
Ive seen the Pens play some uninspired hockey this season and that was near the top of the list. A few spurts of desire during the coarse of the game but this team is still staring down the barrel of a short playoff run. Maz hoped that losing Game 1 would be what it took to wake the team up, I hope so, but having scored four goals despite that, has me wondering just how much adjustment they make going into Game 2. maz
Man, last night was bad.Usually I say forgetting a bad game is best, but in this case, they need to remember it, and not let it happen again.
DEAD!
I think the Coyotes should re-think the "white-out" idea they imported from Winnipeg now that it's ROAD team that is wearing white. Maybe they should introduce the "sandstorm". I saw, I came, I left.
BBTV
Or they could wear green to symbolize the funding that they're all giving the team even beyond the price of their tickets. Sodboy13
Or they could wear green to symbolize the funding that they're all giving the team even beyond the price of their tickets. There's been a bit of a blogosphere movement to start tossing rubber snakes on the ice at Coyotes games. I say they start tossing nickels and dimes instead. The_Admiral
Doing the whiteout is stupid when the road team wears white, the road fans wear white, and wearing white in the first place is supposed to symbolize snow.So yeah my Red Wings friends were howling about how they've never seen the Wings get hit with three questionable penalties and then get scored upon each time. On one hand, it's really nice to laugh at them, those entitled whiners, and ask them how it feels to be on the other side of dubious power plays that always become goals. On the other hand, it was a little David Sterny, but...oh I can't do this, screw the Red Wings anyway. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

The_Admiral
Redmond has a bit of a case. How do the Red Wings usually get imaginary penalties, but Lidstrom bleeds like a stuck pig on a high stick and there's no double-minor? ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
