Congrats to Auburn for buying a national title! Er, winning a national title!

Congrats to Auburn for buying a national title!

Those jokes will become a lot less funny when it's revealed in five years that Nike's money was used to pay Oregon players.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

I imagine it's an issue that perpetuates every major school trying to be a football factory. But I shall enjoy taking advantage of the relevance targeting Auburn and Cam Newton while I can.

This game was nowhere near the level of the '03 Fiesta Bowl or the '05 Rose Bowl, but it was a fun game to watch. Congrats to Auburn for winning the title, & to Oregon for taking the new champs to the limit.

lmao @ 30-10 Oregon though. Wow.

Yes, but not every major school has an incestuous relationship with a major corporation.

Anyone have a guess as to how many points Oregon left on the field by failing to score in the red zone? The playcalling on the drive that resulted in the safety was abysmal, not to mention the stupid penalty.

I expect to hear Oregon fans whining about how Dyer's knee was somehow down and that run shouldn't count. I can't wait to hear the other excuses too.

Oregon fans should have no excuses, their supposedly dynamic offense couldn't punch it in when it counted and Auburn made them pay.

A shameless ripoff, I know, but I couldn't help myself.

Yes, but not every major school has an incestuous relationship with a major corporation.

Check every school's Board or Trustees and you will see "captains of industry" who possess power within the school's running: academics, athletics, and especially facility construction.

One thing I took away from tonight's game...

Phenomenal.

Yeah dude that stuff is always a complete victory for Win across the internet. Not a real win, of course, but Win win.

Wow. I can't even begin to wonder what that could possibly mean. That is fantastic.

I swore I saw a game once where it went something like (from clockwise) Bill Clinton, an apple, a hacksaw, and Tyler Perry. I could be off, but I'm positive it was something like that. I couldn't believe it.

Well, I guess it's like how the old saying goes... if you look like s***, you play like s***, and Oregon was definitely that tonight. Congrats to Auburn and the SEC though, because despite the close score, they clearly were the better team tonight.

Why do I get the feeling though, that if Oregon was the best that any non-BCS conference had to offer, that the SEC is about to embark on a NFC-esque streak of 10-straight national championships when it's all said and done.

Other than hating the SEC I didn't have a dog in the fight, but Dyers wrist was down.

Meh.

1) A wrist is not a knee. It wasn't even a downed wrist at that. More like a palm.

2) It about evens out though, considering that Oregon's last TD drive was spurred by a ref setting a screen for the Oregon rusher.
