Yikes, we're making CHARLIE BATCH loook like Joe Montana

How in the world do the steelers always seem to have such a cake schedule, especially early?

I heard that the Chargers actually walk old ladies across the street and deliver boxes of old clothes and food to the poor during halftime of each game, which is why they can't make adjustments.

I wish they did that, instead of delivering money to the strip club and partying on the nights before playoff games.

The Chargers just bend in other ways, or haven't been caught.

Exactly. If the Chargers are cheating, they haven't been caught and there's no evidence, so they're innocent until proven guilty. If it ever comes out that the Bolts have cheated, I'd immediately criticize their dishonesty. But until then, I can't really call them dishonest.

If you can't circumvent the cap, then you don't have smart enough people running the show.

Oh, I fully admit that the Chargers don't have smart enough people in charge. I've had just about enough of AJ and his ego. I don't give a crap how much of a diva Marcus McNeill is being, sign him to a long-term deal already! There's a reason why he's called "The Lord of No Rings" by executives around the league.

Way, way back when in 2008 when they had the toughest schedule in the league and wound up winning the Super bowl anyways?

I think the toughest schedule argument might better be asked of the Patriots.

I hope they also enjoy NOT getting a 2nd round pick for Vincent Jackson either when he leaves via free agency.

Sure looks like it...at least on the defensive side.

I'm still not sold on Matt Cassell as a starting NFL QB (but then, I don't see Scott Pioli letting Cassel go, either), but Romeo Crennel has got that defense amped up and going. And this Dexter McCluster kid is looking real good early on. It's still early, but looking like the Chefs might well be this season's surprise squad.

My Bucs done got took to the woodshed out back, so I ain't even gon' waste keystrokes on that one...

...The Giants and Titans showed up for a good ol' fashioned West Side Story-type gang-on-gang brawl...and a football game broke out. They have been all upside each others' heads the whole game.

The Chiefs are making the Niners look like a high school team right now. I mean the Chiefs are full out CLOWNING on the Niners, flea flickers and all. How miserably overrated were the Niners, and howabout them Chiefs? Wow.

BTW, when the F did the Bucs pick up that idiot LeGarrette Blount?

Yep, yet another casualty of the AJ Smith Ego Express, considering AJ was once again too stubborn and pigheaded to get a deal done while we could still get something in return. I mean, he still insists Norv Turner is "his guy" when all evidence points to Norv being a horrible coach, but he wants to be taken seriously as a football guru or some :censored:. Gross.

Let's see...

-Boy, did the Giants look discombobulated in that game. All of those Personal Fouls and bad penalties... It's hard to believe that the Giants had over 400 yards of offense and yet could only muster 10 points. Doesn't make sense.

-If anyone ought to be in panic mode right now, it's San Francisco. All they really had in Kansas City today was a pity touchdown at the end of the game... that's it. The Niners may not be the team everyone thought they were at the beginning of the season.

-Tampa got sent to the woodshed, no surprise. To me, though, the true test of a team on the rise is how a team can handle adversity. The Bucs lost, but can they come back and win the next game?

Falcons beat the Saints because our kicker can actually make kicks.

Seriously, though. That was one hell of a game...but hey, seems like that's always the case whenever the Falcons & Saints get together. Wow.

yeah that was awesome. it would have been almost or equally awesome if that first bomb matty threw would have been completed. (dance):boogie::mojoto:

(falcons are my second team)

So it seems the last few years.

I'm just ready to hear all the excuses BlueSky will come up with as to why the Saints lost to the Falcons. :D

The less-valuable odds are placed on these three: "Saints had a short week", "Saints had a long flight from San Francisco" and "Reggie Bush wasn't in the game".

Actually I think it was those damn black pants.

Seriously, sorry to disappoint you. I'd think you'd know by now I don't make excuses, I just say 'good win' to Falcons fans and move on. So, good win, guys.

Wait, maybe you wouldn't know since this situation hasn't arisen much lately. :P

But while I'm ticked that the Saints lost, I also try and look at it objectively...after two gift INTs from Brees, a missed chip-shot FG, a dropped pass by Devery Henderson on a perfectly thrown bomb, and a bone-headed time out that negated a blocked FG, the Falcons barely managed to eke out a 3-point win. I'm good with that because it's just not likely to happen very often. Besides, it's one game in a long season. We'll see Atlanta again 12/27 on MNF.

What a bizarre play on the touched punt, huh? Fantastic hustle and football smarts by both Jimmy Graham and Jason Kyle.
