DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
at least the Mystics' sponsor has the same colors as them... that makes it a little better I guess.
OnWis97
I thought the Mystics colors were more like the Wiz. Did they change their colors to match the sponsor? It appears so...and I'd guess that's the reason, but maybe not.

It appears so...and I'd guess that's the reason, but maybe not.The Mystics and Wizards are both going to red, white, and blue because of the new owner Ted Leonsis who also owns the Caps and did the same to them. The new Wizards look just isn't out yet.

MJWalker45
Too bad it's another league with one template for every team. They could have made the team logo a little bigger

Buster
Horrible. I know the WNBA needs to sell ad space on uniforms to stay alive, but it looks hideous. You can't even tell what the name of the team is by glancing at them.
walkerws
The back of these jerseys are atrocious. Power web backs and the names forced down under the numbers. Pretty poor IMO. Look for the D League to be sporting something similar next year. At least last year they had some individual team elements put into the uniforms. I guess those manufacturers thought it'd be too much effort this time around.

Saw a few other women's teams with them, too.http://cmsimg.newarkadvocate.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Site=B0&Date=20110404&Category=SPORTS&ArtNo=110404001&Ref=AR&MaxW=300&Border=

As I've watched more WNBA in the last year or two, I've definitely noticed the benefit.

No real difference in teemplate, but different from the WNBA's.

Names below the numbers almost out of necessity with this cut.
pcgd
Adidas goes "racer back" for the women's jerseys so having the name above is pretty much impossible unless you're name has 5 letters. I kinda give anyone a pass on templates at this level, its not like the WNBA is raking in cash for anyone. Its pretty much losing money across the board from Owners, sponsors, retailers, even players who could make much more overseas. So the fact that adidas puts them in anything that isn't a practice mesh is a plus.

BBTV
Why are you even watching the WNBA to begin with?I watch it occasionaly when it's on specifically for the uniforms and logos, since I don't get to see them anywhere else and what they've been doing over the past few years with the new templates, the ads, and the overall designs is interesting to me, and relevant to anyone who is a "spots logos" fan, and not just some butthurt sports fan who comes on this board for purposes other than to discuss logos and uniforms.
