I also really like the Carmel helmet, too. The greyhound logo really makes it. The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. cajunaggie08 Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 I grew up in Katy (went to a rival high school) and those uniforms have been pretty much unchanged since modern uniforms began. The only change I've noticed over the years is the font size of the team name on the chest has varied depending on the manufacturer and cut of the jersey. The font sized used to be much larger. You could actually read the word from teh stands. It also appears that they have removed the pants stripe. It had the same patern as the helmet stripe. The road version features a white jersey with red pants. In an era where most sucessful high school programs change their uniform cut to match the popular college template of the time, its nice to see a school stick with its classic look. I knew it was an altered version of an existing logo. For some reason I just couldn't tell exactly what logo it was that was modified. I hope Morton Ranch sticks with that logo because in the 6 seasons of football they have played, they have already gone through 3 different helmet designs.
