Typical Lights Out. Rubio's knee looks like it buckled before he ever even made contact with Kobe. Even if it was caused by contact, you'd have to be a real idiot to even think it was anything but incidental contact.

Lights Out may talk like an idiot, and look like an idiot, but don't let that fool you....he really is an idiot.

And you're the one who's obsessed with every post said "idiot" makes. Maybe you should just put said "idiot" on your ignore list instead of continuing to try to derail threads with this inanity.

And having seen the play over numerous times, it wasn't Kobe's fault after all. I still can't stand him though.

I'd suggest the "6 men on the floor" technical merits automatic and instant termination.

Yeah, Kobe was totally intending to injure Rubio. :therock:

Yeah I don't see how that was on purpose. I've never liked Kobe, but he's not a dirty player.

I feel bad for the Wolves, but I think they can still make a push for the playoffs. I mean they're only a game back and have some solid young players. As far as Rubio I didn't really understand the hype. He makes some good passes, but only averages about 10 a game. Just don't see how people who are saying this cost him Rookie of the Year. They lost a PG which can hurt any team, but they didn't lose a superstar like Love.

I do think Rubio is a little overated myself as he is now but at the same time I do see alot of potential with him.

Point guard is probably the toughest position to learn to play in the NBA, so it usually does take a guys a little bit longer then it does for big man spot where the top guys are usually dominant from day one. You look at guys like Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, Gary Payton. It took them two or three years before they really got going. I think that's what people are hoping can be the case with Rubio. He's not a dominanting point guard yet but he can be.

Deadline Madness is underway! First big deal is Milwaukee acquiescing to Andrew Bogut's trade request by shipping him to Golden State in a 5-player deal that sends Monta Ellis to Milwaukee:

Warriors get:

C Andrew Bogut

G/F Stephen Jackson

Bucks Get:

G Monta Ellis

F Ekpe Udoh

C Kwame "Michael Jordan is So Disappointed in Me" Brown.

Unless they are certain that Monta Ellis isn't staying long, that is a dumb deal for the Warriors.

Andrew Bogut is a nice player to have and the Warriors do need interior help. May even be the best pure center in the game after Dwight Howard, but Monta Ellis is a superstar and Andrew Bogut is not.

Stephen Jackson who's spent years being one of the most underated players in the game is underperforming as well and seeing how he's getting up there in age that could be it.

I just don't get it. They had a building block in Monta Ellis you can form a team that could contend for the NBA title around, and they just gave that up rather then trying to go with it.

Thoughts we'd see Ellis in about 15 different uniforms before a Milwaukee one.

Why were they so eager to dump him? Is he headcase or something?

Short of Kobe Bryant or Dwayne Wade that's as good of a two guard as your going to get.

From what I'm reading, he doesn't play defense, and all he does is score.

I do remember a moped incident which the Warriors didn't like before the 2008 season.

Granted he is undersized but the guy has been averaging two steals a game for the last two years. He can't be that bad. I always viewed him as about an average defensive player for his position.

If your the kind of scorer and passer Ellis is I can live with that.

The Monta Ellis trade is awful, but totally expected. The Warriors are the dumbest team in the league.
