The Wolves played at home this afternoon at Allstate Arena, and drew 10,731. Six years ago, if I mentioned that the Blackhawks drew twice as many fans as the Wolves on a Sunday afternoon, it would have been safe to either assume that I had mistakenly transposed my teams, or that the Wings were in town.Also, considering no major outdoor spectacle was involved, nearly 33,000 in single-day attendance for pro hockey in this city seems pretty dang impressive.
