The_Admiral
The Canadiens celebrated their centennial for like three years. The Maple Leafs will have to celebrate theirs for like eight or nine. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

knnhrvy16
I don't really have anything against Boston (probably helps that Tim Thomas is one of my favorite players). I do hate Detroit and New Jersey, but the rest of the league I'm pretty cool with. But anyways, I apologize if this was already addressed a ways back, but when can Winnipeg get a new 3rd? The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right. Yes they have a big fan base, but the Leaf "haters" far outnumber them. IF they were really "Canada's team" they would not get "Leafs suck" chants in 6 other Canadian cities. spartacat_12
What's funny is that they've decided to celebrate their 100th season on what will likely be the 50th anniversary of their last Stanley Cup.

Further, as an original six team, they have a following all over. When they come into Chicago, the UC has quite a few Bruins fans. Just like the Rangers, Leafs, and Canadians.Speaking of Conneceticut, what team would most locals root for, given their location between Boston and New York (not to mention the fact that they used to have a team that had rivalries with both)?Similarly, what's the sports fandom like in regards to the other pro sports?
