I'm a huge "less is more" guy, but I don't think the Rams' horn treatment works except in the context of the helmet.

And '47 Brand customarily makes their caps in both primary and secondary colors (I have Brewers caps in both blue and gold).

We know that theyre making Bears caps in both navy and orange, and I don't see any reason to believe that they won't make a black 49er cap.

The minute they make one, I'm getting it. Finally, I can replace this crappy Reebok hat I've been wearing.

I've been to lids got my NewEra Jacksonville draft hats all Teal 5950 and SnapBack ninety50 but they had no clue about 47 brand doing NFL hats till I told them. They called another store to confirm but still didn't have a release date.

We basically do. They're called batting practice caps.

I stopped by Ford Field yesterday and picked up the Lions '47 Brand Franchise hat. They had a ton of the old Reebok hats and all the New Era 5950 and 3930 caps. The '47 Brand stuff hadn't been put out yet. I asked and they went behind a counter to get this for me.

can anyone here help me keep an eye out for an oakland raiders 47 brand hat in size XXL?

i know they make xxl hats, cause i've got 3 dallas stars and 1 boston red sox hat in that size... but all i've been able to find online so far is XL, which is a very tight fit on my noggin.

The '47 hats are designed to look sloppy and faded. Clearly, people like them (I am not one of them) because they are comfortable or whatever. However, they look like the hat you have been wearing and leaving in you car's back windshield for five years. They don't look like caps that professional teams should be wearing on the field of play. Also, once the '47 caps get sweaty, they will look REALLY bad, far worse than NE caps looked before the switch to synthetic.

Plus, one of the main reasons for the switch was because organic materials (cotton, wool) simply don't hold up as well as the synthetic polyester they use now. Shrinkage of the hats was a huge reason for the switch. Even though the league gets caps at a fraction of the retail price, It's still not cheap to outfit an entire team for close to 200 games a year.
