EDIT: I should edit this, because that last sentence isn't entirely true. In fact, for the difficulties I had, at times, for watching the SEC-CG, I did a little digging (emphasis on "little") and found a Youtube channel loaded with full game postings of several games, not only from recent weeks but also many games from prior seasons. In all likelihood, all these major games today will be posted in the coming days, and so whatever I missed I can rewatch as if from scratch. So, some tensions eased. But still not the best of days.

Missing a couple football games is causing that kind of tension with you? Seriously? You might want to re-examine your priorities, my friend.

So for all the SEC fanboys, Michigan State is holding up their end of the bargain but not Duke.

Cue the pitchforks and cries in Tuscaloosa.

Nobody other than Bama fans want Alabama in the championship. I admit that I want Michigan State to win so Auburn can get in (I was actually hoping for Mizzou instead.), but in no way do I want Bama fans bragging about a 4th title in 5 years.

Oh, grr, I'm not exactly phrasing things well today.

I'll just stop before I fall further behind.

Just to clarify (oh, the irony!), you didn't read anything wrong. I just wrote it wrong. You are free to have interpreted it the way you did, because that's how it appears. I'm saying this because I've noticed an increasing disconnect between my thoughts and my typing in recent times, and it's a bit disconcerting. Jeez. It's winter time; maybe I need to just get the hell away from everything for a little while soon to get my head screwed back on straight.

And with that, going to go ahead and congratulate Stanford on winning the PAC-12. They were the better team. They deserve it. That Cardinal offensive line is truly something to behold. Dominant.

Amazing season from ASU. 10-2, winning the South, hosting the Pac-12 title game. Can't say its something I expected. This team is good but it's still missing that extra thing to make them a true contender. This season is a huge step forward to that point. Still a little ways to go.

Great season, Sun Devils. Now go win the Alamo/Holiday Bowl.
