East Carolina sophomore defensive back Josh Hawkins was injured early in the second half and was carried off the field on a gurney after paramedics immobilized his neck. Hawkins was taken to Vidant Medical Center. He was later released and team officials said Hawkins had suffered a concussion.

Oregon State starting RB Storm Woods was immobilized and taken out of the stadium after a neck injury late in the OSU/UTAH game. No word on his condition.

With the retiring of Eric LeGrand's number and the memory of his injury, these kind of injuries are down right scary.

Bah. ASU just needs one more stop to get the nail in position on this game's coffin, the Wisky throws the fake punt and another 30 yard pass in.

Come on, Devils. Hold.

Eh. Wisconsin scores, but misses the two pointer.

Almost some poetic justice in that if ASU wins just by a missed conversion. They lost by one at Wisconsin two years ago because of a missed extra point.

And totally agree with ya, Gary. When the rest of the receivers were letting Kelly down, Grice held him up coming out of the backfield and in rushing.

Presumably both he and the Texas AD, and the men's basketball coach, and the baseball coach, and TEBUS CRIPES TEXAS HOW DID YOU LET THE ROT SPREAD LIKE THIS?! will all be departing in the short term.

I hate it when teams take a bye in the first 2 weeks for no apparent reason.

Oh there's a reason. You just don't like it.

HAHAHA OH WOW. Wisconsin's QB just let the clock expire on themselves. How dumb. Why even run a play there? There was barely enough time as it was.

ASU WINS. If so barely.

2-0. Off to Pac-12 play at Stanford next week. Yeesh.

And here I thought the dumbest clock management I was going to see today was Akron putting their heads up their asses against Michigan. Wisconsin just made Akron look like geniuses by comparison. Wow was that stupid.

Also, for me and the 20 other people that watched, Oregon State - Utah was a helluva game.

Anyway...wow was that stupid, Wisconsin.

Not to go too homer here, but I think Ohio State beating Cal on the road is a little more impressive than Indiana knocking off a MAC team at home. Especially when that MAC team is BG.

What it was was straight stupidity by Wisconsin. Besides the execution of the play, why even run it? By the time it was down, you'd either have to scramble to get a spike they might not have gotten in time or sprint out the field goal team, which would have been a :censored: show in itself.
