DS729
So just saying northwestern is still my pick to win the big 10. There are good and nobody talks about them, they will sneak up on people, watch. So next week we(k-state)get Texas?? Oh boy 40 plus points and a boatload of rushing yards!!! and itd the prime time game??? So the Mack brown crusifastion will take place for all to see!!!???? Yippie!!!! Oh believe me everyone in the Big Ten is aware that Northwestern's good. They aren't sneaking up on anyone there.Well all the talk is about Ohio st., Wisconsin, Michigan & Nebraska.... Oct 5th in Evanston, mark your calendars, should be a great game.Anybody else impressed by Oregon? I mean Virgina & Tennessee are not what they where but they are not cellar dwellers as well and they both got 59ed, new coach and not missing a beat. Lets hope both them and bama don't stumble cause that be quite a fun matchup right??They're cellar dwellers in their respective conferences, I'm slightly impressed by the UVA game, going cross-country and winning by 7 TD's isn't easy. But I'm not that surprised by Tennessee though, rebuilding team, new faces everywhere, traveling a long way from home, UVA and Tennessee sound a little tougher on paper than they are on the field. I don't think so, Mizzou could possibly be better than them, but ya they're way ahead of Kentucky, so probably 5th in the East and 6-6 is the best Tennessee can do this year, doesn't help when you play Alabama and Florida every year. Gary
1. Playing football at 5:00 in Central Arizona in September isn't the smartest of ideas. What makes 5:00pm so special in Central Arizona in September? Is there a heat wave still in progress at that time? The fact we start our Summer(100°+) in Late April/Early May and end around Late October. It's not a heat wave. Just how the Phoenix Metro area is. infrared41
BIIIIIIIGGGGGG TEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!And Indiana has arguably the best win of the week for the entire damn conference. Good Job Good Effort! Not to go too homer here, but I think Ohio State beating Cal on the road is a little more impressive than Indiana knocking off a MAC team at home. Especially when that MAC team is BG.BG is apparently supposed to be a favorite to win the MAC this season. But yeah Cal is a good kill....except for the part where they dropped 34 on you.I'll know if I should worry about the Buckeyes giving up 34 to Cal in a few weeks. If Cal keeps scoring like that against decent opponents, then it's no big deal. Either way, the Buckeyes defense should have played better. FWIW, I'd love to see the Hoosiers win 6-8 games this season. Hard to root against them.

FiddySicks
Yeah it's supposed to be around 105 today at 5 PM. You get used to it, but when you're crammed in the student section of an all concrete stadium with 70,000+ people in close proximity, those two hours make a huge difference. And you have to remember that last nights game was the warmest in Wisconsin football history, even with the later start. So Wisconsin dropped the same amount as Michigan although, Michigan won and Wisconsin lost based off of pure stupidity? It wasn't purely wisconsin's fault. In fact, It was less than 50% Wisconsin's fault. Sure the time management wasn't the best, but officials should have thrown a flag on ASU for delay of game #9 LSU vs. TCU

They can't play defense and BK's playcalling has gotten to the point where opposing teams can figure out what we're gonna do based on who's on the field. The single thing that drove me up a wall more than anything last night though was how Kelly handled playcalling in four-down territory in the first half. Both the 3rd & 4 and 4th & 4 plays were ran with an empty backfield. Makes it really easy for the defense to defend those plays. If it's four-down territory, you've gotta at least entertain running the ball on 3rd down.

You guys lost alot on defense, and your starting QB ran away with Manti Te'o's girlfriend, last year was a bit of a fluke IMO. But I think Kelly's got you guys going in the right direction, Navy, USC still are on your schedule at home, that should be 2 wins at least. Don't panic, it's ok. While you don't have the threat of the run out of an empty backfield, it has other benefits. If the benefits of going empty didn't at least balance out the fact that there's no threat of a run, teams wouldn't do it.
