Nice one USC, down but not out. I guess Corso does know what he's doing. Oregon just got super lucky. Now everyone's going to claim USC is "back" just like Miami and Michigan.

USC WINS!!!

If UCLA beats Arizona State, and if USC beats UCLA (and Colorado), they'll be in the Pac-12 Championship Game. They'll probably have to play at Autzen, but you never know....

Wow, SC could still make the Rose Bowl. Crazy considering where they were a month ago.

The Duke Blue Devils are 8-2 - in football.

Carry on.

And could win 10 games and are in the driver's seat for an ACC title game spot... DUKE!!!

---

And you know what? It's good to see the Coliseum like that again. Good for college football. Congrats USC.

But man, does that tighten up the Pac-12. Oregon now back on top in the North. ASU still on top in the South but UCLA and USC still one game behind. ASU already beat USC (soundly in Kiffin's departure. You're welcome, SC ;) ) and goes to UCLA next week, and then UCLA goes down the road to the Coliseum the week after. USC goes to Colorado next week.

Interesting times out here in the west.

Carry on.

If they make the rankings this week, it'll be the first time in almost 20 years.

Duke's broken a lot of records this year. Good for them. If Tech can't win the coastal, I'd much rather see Duke win it than Miami.

And it's a good-looking 8-2. Hope they can win the Coastal.

Speaking of the Coastal, there's a chance the division championship gets shared five ways.

-Georgia Tech's in the clubhouse at 5-3. That'll be the magical record.

-Virginia Tech and North Carolina need to win their last games to finish 5-3. (VT beating Virginia, UNC beating Duke.)

-Miami needs to win their last two conference games. (Virginia and Pittsburgh)

-Duke loses to UNC and beats Wake Forest.

And ASU is now 8-2. They straight up FELL ASLEEP in that third quarter, and Oregon State nearly made a game out of it. Had the Beavers not turned the ball over 5 times, they probably would've won. ASU absolutely CANNOT do this crap next week in Pasadena or they're gonna get crushed.

We now have undefeated six FBS teams left: Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Baylor, Fresno State and Northern Illinois.

There also are five winless teams: UConn, Georgia State, Hawai'i, Miami-Ohio, and Southern Miss (who has lost 22 in a row).

There are 70 bowl slots and there will be much more than 70 teams which will be bowl eligible as the MAC has more eligible teams than contracted bowl slots.

I have counted 65 FBS teams as bowl eligible already through November 17 with weeks left in the season.

Notes from the release of the AP Top 25 rankings:

-Baylor leapfrogs Ohio State to 3rd in the polls

-Oregon enters the Top 5 once again

-Stanford falls to 10th

-UCF falls a couple while Fresno St. & Wisconsin jump ahead

-Texas, Miami, and Georgia fall out of the AP Ranks

-USC, Ole Miss, and especially Duke jump into the ranks. Big Congrats to them.

It would be cool, but no one cares about the AP poll anymore.
