2013 NBA Playoffs

Pretty good game so far. I don't have a horse in this race, but a Miami win would really piss off many of my fellow Ohioans. That's reason enough to hope the Heat pulls it off. LBJ as MVP would probably make a few more heads explode...

I'm going to be courageous and call it: Heat pull it off by 7. Miami is making the bigger shots when it matters and this game has more turnovers than a Swedish bakery. They fought hard, but let their best shot go two nights ago.

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

What exactly is "courageous" about making a prediction on a basketball game?

This might go down as the single most pitiful "Seven Nation Army" chant of all time.

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!

Fine, let's say "adventurous?" No good? Presumptuous? If that one doesn't work, then I'll need the thesaurus.

How about a simple "I'm going to predict?"

Manu cost the Spurs this game. He made some of the most untimely mistakes I've ever seen.

Manu SUCKED. They should've pulled him out at some point in the 4th.

Lebron's jump shooting was about as good as I've ever seen tonight. The Spurs dared him to shoot from 15+ feet, and he absolutely roasted them. Kudos to him. Kudos to Battier and his 6-of-8 three-point shooting. Kudos to the Heat organization for another championship.

Now, excuse me while I puke my brains out.

That's two straight titles and three straight trips to the Finals. Can the "experts" give Lebron his due now?

By the way - I was right :)

You sure were. Helluva call.

Sure was. I should start a hotline with these bold predictions. And here's a free taste: Bet on the Heat next year too!

By "experts" you mean the guys in First Take right?

But yes Lebron James definitely deserves credit for being a great player and making a decision that has proven to be the best for him.

Nope. Still has to win six more rings before people stop hating him.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

Eh, I don't really care anymore. Congrats, I guess.

Their fans don't deserve it though.

That just sounds like a sore loser. What if your team won and aomeone said that you don't deserve the championship? Outside of the bandwagoners, there are those who are loyal.
