They should make them simple again like the original FoxBox. It just looks like it is just ripping off the Amazon Prime and NBC football graphics with the circle in the middle. It looks good, but it's just repetitive. Also, re: The CW graphics: On 12/4/2023 at 3:50 PM, VandyDelphia Mike said: ACC basketball on the CW has a unique graphic package. cdreed
Agree that its similar to NBC and SNF.... but still a step up for CBS IMO

Especially with the lack of padding in some of the elements. This is definitely a first draft that should have been refined. 1 Quote All New: NFL RandomWebsite ★ Behance ★ Twitter ★ Geekier Twitter
fouhy12
This doesn't match up with the other leak at all. And this one seems more reputable IMO. 1 Quote fouhy12's NFL Concepts 2020
ChiCity95
The CW tweaked their scorebug for CBB (old one on left, new one on right):
Kramerica Industries
These graphics look very clean and sharp while staying in the spirit of the previous set. Big upgrade!
ChiCity95
I'm not crazy about the Arial font for the abbreviated team cities, but other than that it looks okay.
slapshot
The font is a bit too light for the team/city name, and white text almost gets lost in the brightness of the gradient. EDIT: White on gold is practically illegible. Really needs to be darker. 1 Quote Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
Lights Out
The new scorebug is really bad. The fonts don't even match the rest of the graphics. The team abbreviations are in plain Helvetica, almost makes it look like a glitch where the correct font didn't load. 5 Quote POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
MrAstrodome
I too say downgrade. Helvetica's not it. Even the hoax one is better. Hopefully they revise it for next season. 1 Quote All New: NFL RandomWebsite ★ Behance ★ Twitter ★ Geekier Twitter
RyanMcD29
For the most part I really like it, but they do have to change the city abbreviation font. Looks way too cheap and doesn't match the rest of the package. Make that change and they've got a real good one to work with these next 4 years Quote Twitter: @RyanMcD29
Dynasty
There is also a lot of negative space between the abbreviation and the score, even more so than the previous score bug. Not a fan of that.
Old School Fool
Yes, the Super Bowl is also on Nickelodeon and yes it is Spongebob themed. 2

What they should've done was move the logos and abbreviations over to the right a bit. That would've eliminate some of the negative space. The left side of the logos are cut off a bit by the borders and there's no reason for that.

TrueYankee26
Yeah with the fancy rest of the graphics package the scorebug leaves a lot to be desired. I would say it looks like something from the 2000s but CBS literally made scorebugs that looks ahead of their time in 2006 and 2009. 4 Quote trueyankee26.wordpress.com
GrayJ12
Would it have not been a problem to use the CBS proprietary font for the team abbreviations and not Arial? I actually enjoy the other elements of this new scoreboard, but using one of the most basic fonts in existence really cheapens it and brings it down overall.
CitizenTino
I would assume all of that negative space in the team abbreviation boxes was the result of: 1. Both teams having 2-letter abbreviations, whereas most teams use 3 letters. 2. Space for records during the regular season.
