The_Admiral Posted November 8, 2014 Share Posted November 8, 2014 Adrian Peterson must have an account at HFBoards, because this thread about the Original Six is full of hurt butts: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1767879 I was in LA a few weeks ago and took in the Kings' manhandling of the Oilers - the into-prump-up/whatever video was a montage of all the great moments in the history of the franchise, and even as a hockey fan of over 25 years, it floored me to realize that there was almost fifty years of NHL history in LA, but it might as well mean nothing because they aren't original six. People commending Arizona for "rebuilding" and slamming Buffalo for tanking, when discussing the exact same types of moves. Everything that you have commended Arizona for doing - dismantling a core that wasn't getting it done, selling off UFAs for good value in futures - is no more or less than what Buffalo has done. At the end of the season, Buffalo is on track to finish with about the same point total as last year. Arizona is going to be 30-40 (!) points worse than last season.
