hettinger_rl
Vancouver Grizzlies. It was hardly ever seen but...it did influence that sweet trim on the jersey. Also this one, still looks great with the Memphis colors...Edit: Wow just found this:
tigerslionspistonshabs
The Grizzlies had a great identity. Loved the full-bodied bear, ball in claw (glad they kept that in Memphis) and the native shield.Their whole package was great. That teal/red/black was beautiful. It's a shame they lived such a short life. Just bad timing I guess. Vancouver is absolutely booming now.
Sport
The surf's logo is cool for it's timeI also like the Robo PenguinI've always been a fan of this Pens logo as well. I remember growing up watching NHL on FOX and thinking the Penguins had some of the coolest jerseys, hah.I like this logo much more than cartoon skating penguin. I really liked the compromise they made when they used it as the shoulder patchone more reason their current uniforms suck.
BigRedBros
Some of these logos are not necessarily underrated, but they are not in the spotlight like pro sports logos in major leagues.I have to admit this is in my top 10 favorite logos. This logo isn't that bad, if you consider that their mascot is a camel, and this is an old logo that was retired in 2004.Lexington Legends cap logo. Very simple mustache but very well done.Omaha Storm Chasers cap logo. Amazing in my opinion.Wilmington Blue Rocks cap logo. This is a WNBA logo, but they did a great job of incorporating the Statue of Liberty and the basketball into the logo. All of the new Arkansas Travelers logos are very good, but this one is probably the best. FunnyHeadlines
I love the old Grizzlies logos! They need to bring some of them back, but put a Cherokee twist into it. (Ha, get it? INTO IT, INTUIT? no? ok.)

That teal/red/black was beautiful. It's a shame they lived such a short life. Just bad timing I guess. Vancouver is absolutely booming now.I've heard rumblings that Aquilini (Canucks owner) is trying to bring the NBA back. Even if he were successful it sucks that we couldn't go back to the Grizzlies identity. The colours were amazing.Take note Seahawks. This is how you incorporate Pacific Northwest Native art into your look.I like the way the Seahawks use the look. It isn't overbearing. Honestly, while the art style is cool it isn't really conducive to a good sports logo. Its way too busy. Same goes for the Canucks orca. Would make a good tertiary logo, but a terrible primary.
