FiddySicks
Big Willie Sutton to the Bears. I don't know why because I have no idea of what the Bears need, but I had a hunch he would land there. I hope he does well with them!Lot of Bears fans were hoping to pick him up. Nice selection, IMHO. They took a blob-ish run stuffer in Ferguson in round 2 so grabbing a guy with more of a motor and pass rush was logical. Many voices shouting for safeties but nobody complained about the Sutton acquisition. Bears had major problems on defense last year and their line should be totally revamped. Still have holes at linebacker and basically nothing at safety, so who knows what Emery's plan is. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. Sutton had a bit of a down year last season, but a big part of that came from him getting double teamed on most plays. He's not your typical enormous D lineman, and his reach leaves a bit to be desired, but when he keeps his conditioning up, he can be a force. rams80
I don't understand the Bridgewater pick at all. His arm is not strong enough to play in the NFC North, especially since the Vikings are at TCF the next two seasons. Why wouldn't you look around the rest of the division and take a cue from them and get a big time arm QB like Derek Carr? What good is a cannon if it can't hit the blind side of a barn? Sport
Who's this Jeremy Hill fella and why did the Bengals decide he was a better running back pick than Carlos Hyde?Sidenote: My favorite part of this draft has been watching the teams make their picks then cut to three or four of that teams fans pretending to be excited to pick a guy they've never heard of. If they wanted the blob-ish run stuffer I would've much rather gone with Louis Nix.And interesting to see the Patriots take Jimmy Garoppolo go to the Patriots, especially if they don't end up dealing Mallett. I'm really high on Mallett and think he's a much better fit for the Patriots offense than Garoppolo. But it was pretty cool to see someone drafted that I played against in high school and my best friend picked off.
Braden
I've been following the Dolphins draft, and while I like the positions they've addressed so far (2 OL, 1 WR), it seems like they've totally mis-judged the value at their pick locations. But what the hell do I know... I'll still take new GM Dennis Hickey over that asshat Jeff Ireland
Soarindude
I am also quite confused about the Patriots drafting another QB, especially so early. I always thought Mallett was the QB in waiting, or at least trade-bait. Maybe this will mean Mallett is defenitely getting shipped, but I'm not sure where. He's easily a top3 backup in this league though.
TheSoundofThrowingPennies
Why do you guys think it's so early for New England to draft a Q? Brady is 37 years old and anyone with eyes can see his arm declining. He'll play a max of two more seasons.
sportstar1212
I'm surprised that some pretty good QB's like McCarron, Mettenberger, Murray, and Boyd are still on the board. Houston ought to take one of them with their upcoming pick.
